  my son called me yesterday, first time in probably 6 weeks, because he lost his car keys, the car is in my name, so i had to get another set from the dealership.

  anyways, it doesn't really matter what he called about, it was just in 6 weeks he only calls because he needs something, not a peep before that (very hurtful).

  a brother drove him to my office and it was quittin time so i went outside with him and gave him the keys, i was hurt and didn't say much to him.

  Yes you are right, Darren tells me that a lot, he says I am too soft on him.

  But to make a long story short, he bought the car, but the insurance was way too high so we put it in my name and he is an occassional driver.

They were behind me and we came to a light I was going straight, they were turning left. If the brother had stopped where he should have, he would have been right beside me, and I was in a convertable, instead he left almost two car spaces in front of him so he didn't have to be beside me. Again very hurtful. I know they are brainwashed to believe that shunning is right, but god damn it, I wish the f***k they would smarten up and stop hurting people. Just my vent

  gruesome armageddon illustrations aside, what's up with never drawing women wearing pants (unless they're worldly)?!.

  picturing them at the kh is one thing, but picturing "christian" women (i.e.

  jw women) outside of the kh wearing dresses is a bit ridiculous.

  I noticed more and more sisters are wearing skirts now because it is too difficult to find dresses. Although there are a lot of 2nd hand dresses at Goodwill and Value Village.

  my boss answered the phone and she said that they were like, id like to share a scripture with you, read the scripture and was like now if you grab your bible, and she was like i dont have a bible and they said well, when someone comes by for a talk, and she was like, you cannot come here, this is a place of business.. .

  Phone witnessing has been around for a long time, at least in my area. It is usually for the pioneers that can't get out much due to age or illness.

  I work at a radio station. What did you do there? I have been here 14 years and was Traffic Mgr for a few years and now I'm Sales Co-ordinator.

  What I would be remembered for? People say I am even tempered and if I swear, I must be really really mad. Maybe I'll have that put on my tombstone!!!

  witnesses believe in these last days, if you never spoke to a witness or heard about the kingdom, jehovah will not destroy you...you will have a second chance in the new system to study.

  Unlike the animal creation, which is largely guided by instinct, Adam had the ability to make choices. When Jehovah chose to lay a command upon Adam not to eat of "the tree of the knowledge of good and bad," He provided adequate instruction so that Adam could decide what to do. (Gen. 2:16, 17) What would Adam do? Jehovah apparently chose not to foresee what Adam—and Eve—would do, even though He has the ability to know everything in advance. It is therefore a question, not of whether Jehovah can foresee the future, but of whether he chooses to do so. Furthermore, we can reason that Jehovah, being a God of love, would not knowingly and cruelly predetermine that rebellion—with all its sad consequences—should take place. (Matt. 7:11; 1 John 4:8) Thus, as far as Jehovah’s exercise of foreknowledge is concerned, it is selective. w6/1/06 14-17

  So are we to believe that God just sat there that whole time thinking to himself, I wonder what Adam is doing today? I really have no idea because I choose not to foresee the future.
