Disfellowshipped Counted?

my brother was just here and of course since we are both disfellowshipped we have nothing better to talk about than jw bs.

so as he understands it those of us that are disfellowshipped are still counted as jw's by the society.

on one hand i could understand the math.

I believe that they are, and also at conventions/assemblies. I believe that they are also counted at the Memorial Observance.

But if by some chance someone 'unapproved' partakes of the emblems, they 'may' not be counted as a 'partaker'.

Notice that the WT use the present tense...is...

"If there is 'sufficient' evidence...he 'may' be disfellowshipped." That's VERY encouraging.

'former child molesters'..wasn't there a BOE letter just posted that stated if it has been more than five years, and a 'former molester' changes congregations there is no need to alert the new congreagation of his past?

And last but not leasr...victims may go to the authorities. It doesn't say no punitive action will be taken against them!!!

So far, they are not dealing with the very issues the lawsuits bring up!!!

You use the 'WT' term 'apostate', then quote scriptures that do not have anything to do with the term 'apostate'.

So what is the Greek and Hebrew word for 'Apostate' dear? Enlighten us please.

And for that matter, what is the Greek and Hebrew word for Homosexual? Please enlighten us some more.

It's happening all over. Between 'publisher flight' and decreased growth rates (which probably translates into fewer contributed dollars)and lawsuits maybe us little 'apostates' or 'apostates wannabes' really ARE the least of their worries right now.

in view of current developments it may be useful to some who have come to the child abuse issue only recently to highlight the watchtower society's instructions to elders.. in a letter to boe dated november 1, 1995 they make the incriminating statement "it is important to first obtain the society's direction to protect both the elders and the organisation.

i can't believe it's all a sham!

remember before i was baptized, i wondered onto a hostile site and felt a sickening dread, when i confronted the sister who studied with me she reassured me that i shouldn't worry, all the stuff on those sites are written by bitter outcasts who have nothing constructive to offer, "after all", she said, ""did you ever read anything upbuilding there?

" well, here i am baptized, back on the net 4 years later and wham!!

Prideful intelligence? what is wrong with prideful intelligence? I happen to pride myself regarding my prideful intelligence.

JW's and recent ex-jw's always give themselves away. Watchtower this, governing body that, organization this, faithful and discreet slave that, and on and on and on.

JESUS CHRIST, remember HIM? JEHOVAH GOD, remeber HIM?

there in a nutshell, you have the Watchtower problem, and there also you have the solution.

As far as the before and after states of Watchtower, hey the so-called 'apostates' are ALIVE!!! that's more than can be said...don't get me started.

What did Jehovah do when Lot approached him and said---"for fifty people will you halt destruction...?" Did God wack Lot on the head, call him names? NO. What did Jesus do when Thomas doubted him? Wack him on the head, call him names? NO. Read the accounts, that is Jehovah. Sounds like the 'Faithful and Discreet Slave---NOT!
