in her original letter she respectfully stated her questions about 1914 and poured her heart out about her concerns on other doctrinal issues.
she sincerely requested help and wrote about feeling torn by the contradictions she had come accross in her personal study.

You could stipulate you want an answer directly from them because you have heard they turn it over to local people to handle it, but you would rather THEY answer it as you want it directly from the source.

What would happen if you sent them a bogus name and address?
Would they check the validity of it before they answered you?
What if you have a friend inquire that is not/has not...been a dub?
If they do check you out and find you have sent bogus info.....will they respond at all...or tell you about it?

I think the society will send a few select men to the next Apostofest. They will sit and listen to all that is said.
After it is over they will contact the ringleader of this gathering and will say....."you know.....you guys did a pretty damn good job here"! Had we not heard any Kingdom Melodies before the program started and no prayer...we would have thought we were at an assembly!!!
Then they will appoint TR to handle all future activities but will insist we change the name from APOSTOFEST to 'NEW LIGHT ASSEMBLIES'

We all know how the society does things AHEAD of time so when the crap hits the fan with them, they will have a track record to excuse them.
They do this all the time. If a future doctrinal change is going to take place they will put in a SUBTLE article in the WT, then when the change is made they can say....."we understood it this way all along"
They did this with the "Great Crowd" taking over the responsibilities of the FDS with their "Princes" in all the earth' teaching.
Now that the "Great Crowd" HAS taken over the responsibilities, they can tell any who inquire....."we have taught this for some time now"

I would venture to say there is MOTIVE behind any Community Service at least by those who promote this activity.
Why would they want to help the community that is going to be annihalated at any time now if it is not simply to look good in the eyes of the media who are chomping at their butts as we speak?
i was once counselled by the elders for watching 'knots landing'....it became widely known in the congregation that me and a few other sisters would rush home from field service to watch our favourite soapie.
if we missed it, we would ring each other up for an update...or...if we weren't near a tv we would ask someone to put the phone handset on the top of their tv so we could hear it...pathetic huh...but that was all the excitement we could scrounge up in our otherwise dull and uneventful lives.
one of the elder's wive's conscience got the better of her...and she confessed to her husband..lol.

It was as long as a typical elders hair-doo...then add an inch!
He was stopped from this by another elder who thought that might be a little extreme but that it was serious and I needed to cut it.
The other case was my wife wasn't getting any talks. When I asked why I was told her skirts were too short. Had I not asked I would have never known.
This is not the case in all congregations I realize but these types of things DO happen.

Not in all cases. If someone is df'ed for smoking,drunkeness,etc. the purpose to df is not to keep someone from talking. In these cases it is to clean out the chaff according to the society.
In cases of child molestation,and similar cases, I can see a gag order type df'ing to stop the congregation or organization from looking bad.

Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother who is a .......
In both of these scriptures the SAME greek word is used for 'stop associating with'. However, the society applies different meanings in these two cases and even changes the wording in NWT.
Both scriptures show you wouldn't RUN with someone of that caliber.
However if one scripture shows to admonish him as a brother, then the same application applies in the other scripture.
1st. corinthians 5:11 was a case of bragging by the sinner AND the congregation of the sin. This was a unique situation that would rarely occur
i normally do not comment on this type of subject, yet i have just been informed there may be child abuse involved for her two children at the hands of a fellow jw.
i will investigate to find the facts, yet if this were true this family has lost much in the "spiritual paradise.

If you feel Jehovah is the one revealing it to them.....what is his purpose for doing so?
Do you think they will reform on this? Have they reformed on other things they know are false such as 1914, 607 and other things they KNOW are false?
Why would he wait this long to reform murder?
I don't mean to rag on you for this, but really disagree on God working this way with them.
They will never apologize to all the deaths if they did reform. They didn't do it with vaccinations nor organ transplants.....why would they start now.
