  while reading "abduction" by robin cook, i was thunderstruck by this idea, concept, call it what you want.

  note that i'm no molecular biologist, so probably i'm wildly off course .

  we have machines that can read dna codes straight from chromosomes.

  What would be the benifit(s) ? If it could make our quality of life better.....that would be good....as long as their were no repercusions.

  What if the JW's lost 1/2 of their followers?

  in my humbly opinion, the wts is afraid of loosing their uncommissioned & unsalaried "sales people".

  the numbers haven't been realy rising except in economically disadvantaged countires, edc, also known as 3rd world countires.

  the countries that report jw growth are the same ones that also report growth of the aids epidemic.

  disfellowshipping.. some of us have known about sites like these for a few years.

  don't care if the WTS flourishes or fails.

  I can understand that....I get that way too sometimes. However....for those of us with a lot of family or friends we have lost.....the yearning remains for the Borg to fall.

  Many see it as a mental entrapment for thousands, and they wish to see the Borg crash.

  Maybe a few thousand letters from all of us will help them.

  I agree. I think SOOOOOOOOO many seeds of doubt have been planted that... for some...they will need not too many more dub blunders and they too will leave.

  It would be nice to have a few more (higher ups) leave. This also takes away credibility in the borg for many.

  Don't you sometimes wonder HOW those at the service desk and legal dept. can turn a deaf ear to all the things within the borg that are exposed thru letters like yours? They get them all the time.

  You would expect those that deal with these letters would act the same as those who frequent this site......learn the borg is bogus......and GET OUT!. What keeps them in????????????????/

  Proplog:

  Without a date there is no reason to belong to a religion that requires such a huge investment of its members time.

  Other religions have NO DATES for the end, and still they multiply. Don't you think other religions require huge investments of their members time also? I used to attend baptist churches and believe me.....they have something going on ALL the time. The difference is....as you say......the penalties for not participating are LESS severe.

  I think many will slow down as they have been.....but....I feel the end of the dubs will not come about because of NO ARMAGGEDON. Sites like these are causing more of a backing off than no armaggedon.

  would just like to say that i have spent hours reading material on this web site.

  just would like to also say that i am still one of jehovah's witnesses.

  if jehovah's witnesses are truly distructive and to familys as well then i would like to know please, how on earth is the association of brothers going to stay together, if it is really destructive?

  I feel saddened that you are exploiting the bad experiences that brothers and sisters have had, and then gone on to try and explain it by means of some fancy dark sinister arguments

  Do you mean like the society does with the Catholics..............and ALL other religions? How many times does the society talk about the happy lives of people in other churches? Never! They ONLY exploit them. You have an entire section in the reasoning book on what to say when people say "I have my own religion"

  Religion is exploited for not knowing Jah's name or his purpose for the earth.....they are ALL doomed for destruction as they are ALL part of Satans organisation according to the dubs.

  Proplog: 'If JW's are going to dissolve it will be for the simple reason that the end fails to come. They are built on the premise that the end is near. This idea will no longer sustain another generation of JW's. Without an immanent "armageddon" there is no reason to be a Jehovah's Witness.

  How do you figure? How many hung on at the 1925 failure? Did they disolve because armaggedon didn't come? Armaggeon has been "just around the corner" since the group began and still the dubs remain.

  Most dubs nowdays have been in less than 10 years.All the past bullshit from the borg is irrelevant or not known to the modern day dub.Other christian groups have been expecting the messiah in THEIR day also.....he hasn't come......and they continue to keep truckin. It may cause some old timers to drop out but I do not believe this will be the downfall of the borg......no way!
