... i furthered my education and embarked on a career.. ... i bought my own home computer for the first time.. ... i got to play and record a lot of my own music.. ... i dated around a lot.. ... i travelled to a few foreign countries.. ... i got married.. ... i had a kid.. ... i learned the truth about "the truth".. a lot can happen in ten years.

I'm glad I wasn't alone about the 95 generation change. Though admittedly I was burned out before 95.

One hundred eleven assemblies

my dad visited recently and somehow we got on the subject of assemblies.

he's been in the truth 37 years and figured he'd been to 3 assemblies a year.

that meant he had been to 111 assemblies in his life!

I'm Still Torn About the Blood Issue

when i left the org.

the blood issue wasn't an issue for me.

my best friend was on the blood committee for years and i could see many cases where either blood wouldn't have saved the person anyways (like when a person is in a serious car accident and their liver is in pieces), or blood actually killed the person and/or hindered recovery.. then my little nephew got leukemia.

Ray Franz wrote some great information about the blood issue towards the end of "In Search Of Christian Freedom". He really showed how ridiculous the Society's reasoning is on the matter.

given the fact that the majority of jw are lets say less educated than the general population.

whose going to run the hospitals power plants waterworks you know general infrastructure in every country there are jws after armageddon or is jehovah simply going to get the angels to do the grunt work?
