happy 31st wedding anniversary marjorie & jim
you are two of the most wonderful people in the world.
we bless the day you came into our lives!.
Congratulations on your 31st!! Time flies when you're having fun!

me, jh, and my bf are going out the night before the apostafest!
if anyone is around and would like to join us that woud be fun!
a few beers, and a few games of pool!
I would but I'll be busy getting all the last minute details in order. Gotta save all my energy for the BIG DAY!!
I had hoped to clean my windows, shampoo the carpet, rid all corners of cobwebs, clean under the sofa, wash out the fridge, clean up the garden, fumigate my son's room, finish a landscaping project(s), etc. None of these have been or will probably be accomplished since my DAMN KNEE IS KILLING ME! (Yes; please feel sorry for me and understand why my house won't be spotless)! (ANXIETY ATTACK!!!)
So...I am going to overcome my tendency towards being an OCD'er...and rest my knee so I can enjoy all my friends.
But I hope you guys have fun the night before but remember...save some of your energy for the BIG DAY!! We need you all alert and sober so as to party, party, party.
And I'll get my autograph from you Mr. Rat when I see you Saturday. HA!
Big hug...cathy l.
.
i like to run, but if i ever go a week or more without running my left knee starts getting very sore.
once i go out an run again the pain will go away so long as i keep running every other day.. anyone have any idea why this would be?
Obviously you are some kind of freak Elsewhere! JUST KIDDING!
I wouldn't doubt that you have some arthritis in your knee and the running keeps your joints "oiled" and warmed up. When the ligaments/muscles/joints aren't used for a while...they probably freeze up and then cause the pain. I'm no expert; but I had my left knee replaced last year and have had 3 "scopes" (one coming up in two weeks because my new knee is still painful)...and if I don't overdo it; they seem to feel better. BUT...on the other hand, when I do too much walking or going up and down stairs...HELLO PAINKILLERS. (Actually; I've been on oxicotine for over a year and a half...not good).
But that's my theory Elsewhere. A touch of arthritis in your knee that your running actually helps! Hmmmmm...and this is why I'm NOT A DOCTOR!
Hope you feel better.
Big hug...cathy l.
happiness is .
what is happiness to you?
this tormented me as a witness.
Happiness is seeing my family happy and seeing my garden in full bloom!
Happy Birthday Englishman! Have a rolicking good time at the pub!

so, i've been sitting at the computer all night long, not really panicked, but definitely disturbed at the thought of what the months to come will entail.. the port-a-cath was "installed" (surgically) on monday, and that was tough.
somehow the lumpectomy last month and even finding out that there was lymph node involvement was okay.
scary, but okay.
Ahhhhhhhhhh...I wish you well and a speedy recovery from the "chemo assault"! A few years back my sister went through a lumpectomy and the lymph nodes were also involved. Did the whole chemo and radiation thing. She was diagnosed with stage 3...not good. But she is cancer free now over 5 years later. The chemo wasn't as bad as she thought and her wig (she only got one) was really cute and I don't think a person who didn't know her could even tell it was a wig. But it's hard to keep that "good attitude" that people think you should have. A person going through what you are should be able to scream and cry and rage against the gods! I know I would be!
Just let people who offer take care of you. You need all the TLC and love you can get to fight off those nasty cancer cells...and I'm sure you will!! I know many of us will be thinking the good "karma" thoughts for you!
Love and hugs...cathy l.
could the awake be getting dumber?.
let's look a recent issue ( july 22, '05).
1) the cover reads "natural disasters - are they getting worse?".
3)"Meeting The Challenge of Meetings" (pg. 28)
Are you serious? Nah...I must have misread. I think I'm gonna crap my large pink undies with that one.

just thought i would share some of my pics from this past week in the show me state...ended up bringing home 56 lovely trout.....will probably have a fish fry soon so stay tuned!
heading out for 4th of july with the kids in south texas on friday...w00t!
show us your vacation pics or what you are doing this summer for fun.. .
Oh my oh my oh my...now I'm having flashbacks of former camping/backpacking trips. But we never got to fish. I suppose I could go out and sink a line in our little pond and catch me a goldfish...but it wouldn't compare to your catches. And it's hard to eat something you've already named. Here fishee, fishee, fishee........!!!!!!!!
Loved the pics...cathy l.
