but the fact is that pursuing "dead works" can result in the loss of Jehovah's favor and blessing. You can see how sad a development that would be. It would mean the loss of the joy and peace that God's spirit produces. And imagine what a loss it would be not to share in the warm Christian brotherhood! -
Blondie...this called for a VOMIT ALERT!! I would rephrase this to say: "You can see what a happy development that would be. It would mean more joy and peace in your life. As an added bonus...you would not have to share in the cold, hypocritical, unloving Christian "brotherhood" anymore"!

Oh my dear Butt...I am surprised that you would resort to hypnotism because you darn well know from your extensive studies with Jehovah's Witnesses that it can lead to demon possession. And I heard that demons love to smoke. So you see you got a double whammy there. Oh hahahaha! No...seriously...sorry it didn't work. I have always been curious about hypnotism as regards to WEIGHT CONTROL. Guess I won't give it a try.

i hate how they are supposed to be humble men, yet they have everyone worried.

We had a CO who was the incarnation of evil (or is that the devil). But...thanks to him...we saw how the Watchtower REALLY operated and it was ta ta la de da by by.

this is a littlebit of quiz but still worth of talking.
so, what was the last thing which made you think that jw's are not "the truth"?
i'm trying to collect things, which are crucial points for jw beliefs so i can write something about all of those things.
When I realized that anyone who wasn't baptized was an "unbeliever". Even though these people, for instance "unbaptized publishers", were going door to door and preaching and the Watchtower would count their TIME along with those considered "believers". I mean, come on now...how can you go to meetings, give talks and go door to door preaching if your don't BELIEVE?
This of course affected my sons marriage to his then fiance' who was raised a JW, was an unbaptized publisher...and was contemplating baptism. My son was "marked"...without any type of warning (not scriptural according to own JW LAWS) and the wedding was boycotted with talks given to two congregations NOT TO ATTEND. People weren't able to use their own conscience or free will to attend a marriage, which by the way, has outlasted several of the weddings everyone went to because both were "believers". These other couples were showered with gifts and money and celebrated...and now they're divorced.
So what really forced us out was that we had proof that the elders made a huge mistake by marking our son WITHOUT WARNING (we have the "marking" talk on tape!!)...but with over a year of arguing with the BIG SHOTS/SNOTS in NY and our local elders...no apology...no discipline of the involved elders.
I absolutely detest religion.

Well I sure am dang sorry about your encounter with them there nasty critters...but for myself...I would be more worried about a certain BUTT person walking around the woods with a loaded shotgun. Heck...if I had known that...I would have sent some elders up your way! I heard this was what BUTT was heard telling the POlice when she ACCIDENTLY shot aforementioned elder(s) I eventually scammed into going near her cabin...
"But Mr. POliceman...I thought that there elder I riddled with my shotgun was an evil hairy bear trying to attack poor little ole me and I don't see too good after a night drinking with my fellow nun, Brookie."
