My wife had a call from a Wallkill, NY cell phone yesterday...whats up?

the caller inquired of mrs.chickennest if she was disfellowshipped?

the caller identified herself with a name we didn't recognize.

when my wife indicated that she was no longer a witness, the call was ended by the caller.

maybe someone miss talking to your wife, but due to the shunning policy, they had to hang up.

okay, i'm closing in on 500 posts, but have almost no 'new topics' to my name.

i don't feel like starting anything profoundly spiritual.

so, i'll share this tip that has worked for my kinfolk.. on both sides of my family, we frequently suffer from nighttime leg craps.

he is not JW. JWs have much smaller badge than that. JW Badges are about the same size as regular business cards.

ok everyone, just some fun here - no i haven't got wind of any change in the pipeline but, if the watchtower bible and tract society were to ditch the name watchtower altogether, what would they call the watchtower magazine instead?

What positive aspects do you find about being a JW in the past?

a couple of days ago, i posted a comment for a newbie like me (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/145459/2623555/post.ashx#2623555), and i told him this:.

i try to focus in the few positive aspects of being a jw, and how that can help me to improve myself.

i like to help people too, and that is something that i really enjoy.

well, my parents was very heavy smokers before they came into the "truth". I was born in the "truth". I have never smoke a cig in my whole life, that is what I am thankful for. Life goes on!

okay, so this weekends weather has been a bit crazy, especially in california; twisters geez.

anyway, i heard some people talking how this weekends weather rain, no rain , back to rain and no rain again is a sure sign of the end being nearer.

so if it would be hot as it was last week, would it have been a sure sign too?

Free Virus Protection???

i have had mcafee virus protection on this crappy computer of mine for the last year, which has now expired.

some people have told me to use the free software available online as virus protection - i am a bit sceptical... does anyone do this?

is it safe?
