  Is there proof somewhere that when a KH is sold...,

  is there some place to prove that when a congregation donates time, work, materials, ect... to build a kh, that when it get's sold the money goes to the wts corporation and not back to the congregation that built it through donations?.

  i've been lurking here for over a year...(on the old forum and then this one)...i also post on several other forums.... got a long story, but i won't go into that right now.. some of you know me from the other sites, just figured this was a natural progression into apostahood to register here.

  Thank you Phee for sharing your story. It just sickens me to think this creep got away with this abuse, how sad for you. I'm glad you are feeling stronger now and have a happy life,

  I would love to see stories like this in popular magazines like Cosmo, Glamour, and Teen magazines. It may wake the public up to what the WTS is really about.

  I have read stories about rape in these magazines but never commited by jw's. I wish your story could be told on Oprah, and other talk shows.

  It is just too shameful that these guys get away with this.

  Paradise Won't Be "Instant"

  i have heard that "paradise" will be achieved gradually; that it will take all of the thousand years to reach that state of perfection.. .

  now, while you may be convinced that it will take all that time to bring the earth back to it's pristine state....suppose it applies to humans as well?.

  imagine this scenerio: wounds and broken bones heal slowly and gradually; your bags and sags are still there, but since you have seen results of other people, you hang on that the promise will be for you, too.

  I wonder if Jehovah led man to stem cells to rejuvinate our bodies, they are claiming to cure so many illnesses with stem cells, maybe grow new tissue, skin, hair... .

  do the jw's still believe that they were chosen by jesus as god's one true religion, by what charles russel taught?

  do they stand on that or do they feel they were chosen later under rutherford?

  if they accept that russel was chosen and rutherford changed things up, wouldn't rutherford be an apostate?.

  Again everyone, thank you for taking time to respond to my post.

  My sil was raised a jw, he broke away in his teen years, got reinstated, married my daughter, she got baptized 6yrs. ago. I have a great relationship with both of them. I don't want to jepordize this. I am here for my grand-kids age 8 and 5. I hate to see them at this young age falling under the WTS mind control.

  I do try to say things to get them to think, but not to often. I'm afraid if I brought things up all the time they would figure out that I'm plotting against them.

  I told my daughter that I would not interfere with her children and how she is raising them. Instead I will try to work on the parents, without their knowledge.

  I'm always afraid I will say something that will get them angry with me. Just trying to play it cool and get myself educated here.

  Possible-san, thanks for the links, I will look them over and bookmark. I have the book "Captives of a Concept" I think its an excellent book, I was thinking on taking advice from Don Cammeron and see if I could get my son in law to study with me, but ask him to study the history with me first so I can know why it is they believe they are the one true religion. I really have to do my homework.

  I have a lot to learn, so I won't be doing this any time soon.

  Thanks Blondie, I appreciate it, I better get the Proclaimers book. Although, being that they saw the light getting brighter on this subject, it doesn't matter.

  I thought maybe I could show my son in law that since they celebrated Christmas when they had Jesus approval for teaching the proper food at the proper time, that maybe they would see that it is ok. Boy, the WT has all their bases covered! UGH!
