We have already begun to have local needs parts in the service meeting about how people are disrespecting the meeting for field service on Saturday by showing up late. It's supposed to be taken seriously (I guess before it was a meeting for field service and now it is more ... official).I don't think I have been on time for one yet. But I am sure they've already labeled me as evil because I never wear jackets to the kingdom hall. This, in their eyes, is a sure sign of blasphemy ...

my question for today, boys and girls, is: have any of you had a spouse that has never been wrong, ever, in life?
to hear them tell it, that is.. anything that is wrong is not their fault (but most likely yours).

Well part of the reason is her blind adherence to the WBTS. When she was a child, her father was a sometimes-Witness and her mother didn't have alot of time for her. So even as early as 8 or 9 years old, she was always studying and reading the Bible and this makes her a better person than people who didn't "have that love." It certainly makes her better than me and my screwed up priorities because I don't hang on the WBTS's every word. She was a pioneer, and sacrificed this or that to be a pioneer.
But that's spilled over into everything else unrelated to the JWs. She's a better parent than everyone because she's a JW parent. She's a better worker than everyone because she's a JW worker. If she sees someone not working like a slave on her job she's a threat to tell them to do better or she'll report to management. This is her JW responsibility.

How do you go from hatred of the WBTS to indifference to it.

not just to what it has done to me and my family but to people all over the world.
i want to see nothing but the governing body exposed as the charlatans that they are and for all to see the great evil that is the wbts.

Right now I am filled with burning hatred towards the WBTS. Not just to what it has done to me and my family but to people all over the world. I want to see nothing but the governing body exposed as the charlatans that they are and for all to see the great evil that is the WBTS. I am further incensed by the fact that it is untouchable. How does an organization get to be this way? It's like being angry at the United States government. You can hate it all you want, but it is what it is and it will keep doing what it's doing and there isn't anything you can do to stop it. There isn't anything a hundred can do to stop it. Or a thousand. It's a mountain.
I know there are many people (some on this forum) who make videos about it on youtube. They're wonderful and I hope that at least one person has been forced to think by maybe accidentally stumbling across one of them. I'd make videos myself if there wasn't the fear that someone would identify my voice. But deep down it would only serve some self-satisfying purpose. It wouldn't hurt the WBTS. If news stories about pedophilia hasn't done them any harm, nothing will. (Of course, a JW will tell you that this is proof that they ARE God's organization because of their untouchableness).
I want to hurt them. But I can't. So how do I go from wanting to remove this scourge from the face of the earth to just happily accepting its vile existence and moving on.

Anything that is wrong is not their fault (but most likely yours). Anything that isn't working right is due to something you did or didn't do. Furthermore, the world would be a better place if everyone was like them. They've never had to apologize (to you or anything else) for anything, because they've never done anything wrong.
I just wanted to know if I was married to the only perfect person or if others have been also.

Jehovahs Witnesses - Mainstreaming, Like It Or Not
by metatron init used to be that pioneers supported themselves with free literature and magazines and put in 100+ hours a month.
then 90, then 70.. a publisher had to put in at least an hour a month to be counted.
now 15 minutes.. they used to hand out a written review and collect it and grade it!

Another issue causing the decay is the lack of a "date". In order for a cult to work, there has to be a date where everything will culminate. Even after 1975 came and went, there was a specific time period even though there was no specific year. The system surely would not last another twenty years, no youths in the organization would reach adulthood before the end came, definitely things would have changed before the turn of the century.The turn of the century happened, people who were in their teens, twenties, and thirties are now older, some working in terrible fields or are unable to change their professions because they were herded into window washing or sand blasting.
With no date, you've got no cult. People aren't storming out of the kingdom hall doors in disgust; they're just slowly slipping away. The money problem just makes it worse.
