i talk to my mom once a week, but my dad won't pick up the phone to talk to me.

WHEN YOUR PARTNER WANTS A TATOO AND YOU DONT WANT THEM TO!!!!
by Summer wine ina bit of backgound info................my husband and i, after being in the org for 20 , high pressured years, faded about 4 years ago and after the usual feelings , anger, sadness, joy etc we had quite a upsetting change of circumstances.
recently my husband told me he didnt think he was in love with me anymore, decided he had missed out on what he really wanted to do with his life.
he wants to get a high powered motor bike, go off and get new friends ( i have no objection but hes blamed me cos he hasnt got any) and now has got a big tatoo on his arm from the shoulder to the elbow.. ive never been really keen on tatoos but sort of gave my inital reluctant support and actually went with him when he had it done!!.

I know how you feel. My hubby has two tattoo's one oneach arm and they are kind of nice, but he wants more. I just tell my self. That I love him for who he is not for what he looks like.

Ok I've made up my mind I am not going back. If there is a Armageddon, Bring it on! I'd rather Die with My husband and Daughter if that's what the almighty wishes, but I won't go back to a religion I have no faith in. That is the end of this Topic. Chao

I had a chance to mention to my mom that I heard the bookstudy was no more
by sosad inand she told me that was absolutly not the case.
she laughed and said that would never happen - that they needed it and that where ever i had gotten my infomation from was absolutly wrong and that i could tell them so.
she then told me that the public talk had been shortened - and i said that i had heard that it was 15 minutes shorter - the fact that i knew that kinda threw her.. but the book study would never go.

I told my sister who is still a JW and she said and I quote "The only news that I know of is that tomorrow (Sunday) there will be a letter read worldwide from Bethel. If it has to do with the bookstudy getting cancelled, it only shows that they are preparing us for when persecution comes our way and this is another indicator that the end is very near. Remember, the Bible says that no-one knows the date of the end but God so the Society will not be making any more end of the world predictions except that it's right around the corner. Don't believe everything you read. The Bible says that in the end Apostates will rise and infiltrate Jehovahs organization and try to bring down as many people as possible with questions that doubt Jehovah. The only truth and security I can give you is to read the Bible for yourself and see what Jehovah tells you directly. Don't let anyone rear you from the truth." That is her word for word what she said. I'm so freaking confused right now.

I have been talking to one of my sisters and she's making me feel like I have to go back. I've been crying, I've been depressed. I keep praying to god to send me a sign as to what I should do and all I get is my JW sister sending me emails to come back. Are those the signs? On the other hand my hubby tells me not to go back that everything will be fine. I have a little girl who is going to be 2 years old in July, I want to make the right decision. I'm going insane. Is their anyone out there with the right answer. I can't take this anymore . Help !!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you fell when you look back at your time as a JW ??

I feel it's made me who I am today. I'm a good person, who was deprived of having fun, but hey now I get to have all the fun I want without looking over my shoulder.

What do you miss the LEAST and what do you miss the MOST about the Borg?

the last talk at any assembly or convention that seems to drag on forever although it's supposed to only be 1 hour long.
