Although I was never a jw I did visit the local cong to investigate the latest goings on .Yes demoms are still very topical .Women are allowed to answer at the Wt study during the meeting and still pretend they are instructing each other during the theocratic book study ,and also still comment at the weekly book study also allowed to clean the hall and sing .I have seen some very young children being trained in the theocratic book study as public speakers ,we are talking pre teens.

I think the problem with britian is that for a long while they didn't have elected officials and people there just seem to accept whatever the government does as business as usual. If I heard correctly they started having free elections so that tells me it's time for the people to have a voice.

I remember watching this a couple of times myself. Some people do not fall over the first time but after an exta heavy dose of the spirit finally do with some encouragement from the crowd and the embarrassment of national tv.Put me down as a skeptic .kind of reminds me of the steve martin movie where he plays a phony faith healer ,can't think of the name of it.

What I would like to know is why does it say in Genesis 1-11 that God caused grass to grow and vegetation but in Genesis 2-5 says that he had not caused the vegetation to sprout? I did look in the creation book and the JW do believe that the word day can mean any amount of time but you are right it does get confusing since it does say there was an evening than a morning.
