I remember being pressured to answer at the meetings while only being a study and told it was a requirement .I hated it even though I only tried a couple of times it was mostly reciting the article anyway and so mundane .Definately can live without that experience.

Feild service and answering
by shera ini was wondering how you all felt about feild service.. i didn't like it all all,i would have minor anixety attacks and sweaty palms before i went door to door.
i would have a hard time taking a door,so one time,my loving "sister" left me standing at door by myself.i remeber being "happy".
i was very uncomfortable going to peoples door and trying to force religion on them,when they didn't want it.i only went out because it was imbedded in my mind that i had to go door to door to save peoples lives.i didn't want to have blood on my hands of the people i may have helped save with god's words.. with the answering,i almost passed out...lol..i used to be painfully shy.when i didn't answer enough,i would be judged as not being spiritually(sp)strong.the woman i was studing with would try to raise my hand up.the way i looked at it there was no accepting of who you were...had to be like the social butterflies to be accepted.now thats what i call love.

Suggestion for Memorial
by reubenfine inhow about if we all show up for memorial next year, go somewhere that nobody knows you, (or even where they do), and partake of the emblems?
it would skew their numbers the looks would be priceless in a hall where 25 people or more would partake?
then get up and leave and don't talk to anyone.

I showed up to the last memorial and walked out just after they started passing the stuff around .I think It is retarded to pass that stuff around to people who are told not to eat and drink anyway.

I have a beer and can say yes there is brainwashing involved in religion .I find this site to be a diversified group and can't say I agree with everything that is said but I have had experiences with the JW and understand why people are getting disillusioned .If the WT applied to the UN for membership as being said here ,this would definately put them up for hypocrisy to say the least.As far as the child molestation ,I have never heard of the problem amongst the JW and it could be due to the secrecy that is being talked about on this forum.I can say the people that post around here give us something to ponder at times but I wouldn't be too eager to say all of it is fact.you are right though to say it is mostly anti JW sentiment voiced .

Frustrated and Lonely in Las Vegas

" (lower case g) and then since jws have said that he (jesus) is a creation (the first creation, archangel) in your very own nwt it says in john 1:3 "all things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence.. it would seem to me that if all things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence, then he must be god and not archangel.
