by OUTLAW ini`ve been thinking about this for a long time now.............if jwd closed..it is unlikely i would ever post again on a x-jw board.....ever!.....outlaw would cease to exist in "jw cyber world"...............now i come to find simon is looking at options..to keep our cyber home,jwd,up and running..this is going to be a godsend for most!............if jwd continues..i am going to stay..i will continue to participate in jw cyber world.......and.....i think many that have left,will be happy to return to this wonderful place.................outlaw

Matthew 24:14 fulfilled
by Newborn inyou've probably discussed this a lot already but i started to have serious doubts when they announced that matt 24:14 was fulfilled.
even though in 3 countries, i think, (like afghanistan..) it had not been preached in at all and billions of people elsewhere will never hear about jehovah.
again the answer is probably that jehovah will make the final judgment and he is all justice etc.

I don't think that the good news could have been preached throughout the earth in the apostles day since they new nothing of north and south america and didn't even hit africa , they only got parts of europe and parts of asia . Today I think it's fair to say that most of mankind has had ample opportunity , so if the end did come there would be no reason to say God wasn't fair. I do think there will be greater opportunity in the future , whenever revelation 19 takes place and all militaries and kings are destroyed there may be a transition period from the worldly rule to the heavenly one.IMO

I can see where you are coming from passwordprotected .The only people that think those are, "fine publications", are the WTBTS and some of the witnesses but what I found interesting was the appeal to be obedient to jesus and not a book publishing corporation . As we all know "salvation does not belong to mortal man". I have been going to the meetings and they are still harping on obedience to the corporation so we have a bit of a contrast with this article , the WTBTS makes themselves sound like father , son and holy spirit most of the time .

Interesting how they went from fleeing from unrighteousness to the pursuit of righteousness . I personally believe that godly devotion = righteousness + humility , I did think it interesting how they threw in the let's not take the righteous thing too far and become self righteous as could easily happen and does from what I've seen .At least they stressed obedience to jesus instead of the organization ,perhaps they are learning some humility in brooklyn ?

by cameo-d inis there some scripture that the 144,000 must all be removed or no longer alive before armageddon begins?.
are they supposed to be "taken out of the way" before armageddon begins?.

My belief is that armageddon started whenever the appointed times of nations concluded and is a battle between the forces of darkness and the light. Jesus chose a church and is directing it whilst satan being cast to earth is fighting against it and using the worlds governments to oppose the preaching and converting work . The 144k are martyrs and are killed by the ax and are the first resurrection , the great crowd are the followers of christ that never die or know death and survive into the kingdom . armageddon ends at ,"the great fear inspiring day of God almighty," whenever the complete destruction of world powers takes place . It is an invisible spiritual battle .

Who do you think the King of The North is?
by Number1Anarchist inlet me know thru your studies who do you think the king of the north is?.
russia or china i'm guessing but that would be a logical choice.. this is my opinion but i think with the united states getting involved in territories that are under control of russia and china is reaching a boiling point and eventually somone is gonna say i have had it i'm not taking this anymore.. i read this also that in a chinese proverb they have a sayin "kill the chicken to frighten the monkey" the chinese beleive the attack on iraq was the chicken and they are the monkey.. now i'm hearing they are or may blockade iran.
if this happens it could be the final straw but maybe not but i think very soon we will see the knig of the north rise up in defiance to the united states.. let me know what you think please!.

I think the king of the north is the US . The king of the north invades asia like the US has done and no other country has a big navy as is mentioned , "many ships". The WTBTS interpretation does in fact leave it so the roles can change at any time . I think it is an end time specific prophesy .

I'm with alex jones on this stuff , all is not what it seems in the US media that is run by big corporations , according to my sources the georgian government started the trouble by ehtnic cleansing and killing some russian peace keepers , I think russia would like to reclain the territory but can't get the "democratically" elected government that is controlled by GW and company to cooperate . Personally I'm waiting for the king of south to appear , it could be russia or china , I still think the US is king of the north , don't care what the WTBTS says about it. There are only a couple of countries left with the kind of military to engage in any kind of pushing over asia .

I also really hate the way they lend money to congregations , they just recently decided not to charge interest ,gee thanks WTBTS . The money they lend is the same money that was donated to pay for the stuff to begin with .Of course the view on education when they won't do much to help people with the ministry anyway is pretty hateful.

From what I've been reading lately it was the georgian government that was doing the ethnic cleansing and the russians (who want to annex the country) moved in to stop it. According to press releases the Russians main attack was on georgias government buildings and military unlike the attacks on the civilian population that georgia was up to .

I hate the lack of humility and the eagerness to shift blame on their followers for the times they were wrong on the worlds end , such as 1975 . That's what I've read on the board anyway.They never do apologize for it but instead come up with some dogma that they are blowing Gods bugle and keeping everybody motivated in the ministry . I think there should be an apology at some point , asking forgiveness for imperfection is the only "christian" thing to do .I also hate the blood dogma that gets little children killed , if you're adult and want to turn it down that's one thing but to refuse it for somebody else is another.Gotta say I hate the way they run the memorial with all the passing emblems around for about no reason at all , I mean jeeze what is the point of that ? I'm sure there's more but for now that'll do.
