Some good points being made about beards. God and christ are both seen as having beards in heaven even , the WTBTS depicts all angels as having beards where as I don't recall seeing any pics of the devil with a beard . I think the hair situation was more about being separate from the world but the apostle Paul tried to say that only women could have long hair but in the mosaic law the rite of the nazarite was to not cut his hair unless in morning or toward the end of his term .

last week the song during the service meeting was absolutely horrid!
singing classics like "from house to house" "we're jehovahs witnesses" it's torture!

no kidding !! These people can't sing along with the music for sh!t . Unbelievable how they write this music for piano yet they are tone deaf . That stuff is absurdly difficult for people that don't have any music training and are expected to sing along regardless .

You people keep saying the ORG. is on the decline but they keep saying they are growing exponentially . People in third world nations are taking to it . Good point tho how they are still money hungry and continue to want to build congregations , I heard recently that from a mineral rights lease agreement they took the money and put in savings , now am I wrong on this or is it illegal for NFP ORG. to have savings?

What I find interesting is that they don't ask these people why they partook , maybe some don't buy into the WTBTS dogma that only the 144k are to eat and drink and believe they are only professing the death of the lord as the apostle Paul put it , that he died for your salvation . Who knows? I would seriously doubt the numbers reflect the left over remnant , as Revelation puts it, God is waiting for the last to be killed off by the ax before he takes action . I don't think it's talking about a symbolic death there.

I think one thing they have gotten away from was the fact the Apostle Paul did encourage them to prophesy and pray incessantly for the gift in the various congregations ,it was so the righteous one could be aknowleged and the unrighteous could be exposed . Something along those lines . It would upbuild the congregation and help them in their faith knowing they had people that were in good standing.

I still believe in the 2 class thing , the "anointed" make up a remnant that are martyred in behalf of the kingdom preaching work and therefore die and are the first resurection of which the second death has no authority over them where as the GC are the ones that survive the GT and will never know death at all . I do have a problem with them insisting that those that die in this world also make up the GC ,they are the second resurection . The partaking of the last supper is to enter the new covenant with christ after being born again , which the public version of the WT had an article on . If God imparts his spirit to you and you are walking in it's direction then you qualify if not then better not to partake since the apostle Paul says you will only curse yourself rather than receive blessing .

I see it's just another CYA . I study with an "anointed" one that does make up his own beliefs and he gets very offended whenever I ask if it's an opinion or what the WTBTS says , I swear you should listen in on some of this stuff , he says he never speaks his own opinion but did not confer whether it's WT teaching .
