I am out of here
by Aussie Oz inthis place has become far to jw ish for my liking.. free expression and rights to make reply are shut down by those who hold the key.. this forum is turning into an uber christian outreach program with those who take umbridge to them getting locked and deleted threads.
it would perhaps not be so bad if the moderators actually communicated to people such as myself rather than cold cutting.
they complain when we make a public outcry and tell us it belongs in a private message, yet cannot see 'the straw in their own eye' and do not use the private messages to communicate why they have done what they do.

Hard to NOT have the last word - let them hang themselves
by Mad Sweeney ini recently had a jw "friend" (the last non-relative one that has any contact with me at all - and it is only electronic) post a typically cultish statement as a comment on my fb page.
there is no good way to respond without going all logical apostate on him.
i know the dubism is idiotic enough on its own to discredit itself and him, but i am still fighting the urge to respond and clearly show how ridiculous the statement was.

If we look at the advancement in technology even over the past 20 years then you realize not all issues were settled . The ability to land rovers on mars and look for new elements was a first even recently. I think the bible is clear in Daniel that it is more or less man that destroys the planet to a point where all life is in danger . I believe it was 11 and 12.

I believe the US will wind up in war with china after they destroy the dollar all together and create a new currency thus leaving china holding a stack of worthless bonds . It's not paranoid to suspect a secret force of chinese in the country , they have found crates of weapons in california that were chinese. One thing we know is the US news media is only showing us what the global elites want you to see.

i don't think the bible actually quotes God as saying he allows suffering to prove no kingdom can stand but his , but the prophesys all indicate the failure of mans governments to bring a eutopia.

when it comes to religion especially , most people are living a lie . It's obvious that most religions are way beyond logic or reason. Not just in WT land. It's pretty obvious that the sayings of life have not been proven for any religion , since they deny spirit inspiration they can't claim to know who gets saved around here.
