wow I didn't think anyone would reply to this post lol . congratulations ,you have just won a free 1 year supply of swamp gas .lol I think that since programs like project blue book came up with no solid evidence that there aren't any ufos .As far as why people keep making these claims of encounters can be explained by peoples desire to be different and to claim fame for something.I also wouldn't put it past the government to choose certain unsuspecting people for various tests. If you ever saw jacobs ladder the movie which really raised alot of suspicion in my mind as to how far the government would go to experiment with psychological warfare or various chemicals. Are you watching the show? ,they are really putting the government in a bad light with a very devious plot of treating citizens as nothing but people to be manipulated and killing people that get in the way .I am loving every minute of it .

It makes me wonder why it took them so long to investigate the allogations since the WT was making these very accusations way back in the 70's .It would seem that there is corruption in the legal system to a point of blatant ingnorance .I think this scandal goes way deeper than they are investigating maybe even as high up as the supreme court.

JW's deny jesus as being king before 1914
by heathen ini ventured to the local hall here last week and when time to discuss the watchtower a guy made a comment that the wt only believes that jesus became king in 1914.now i have read the bible and do have an interest in what it says despite my handle on this site and i have noticed that the apostles made clear that christ was king of heaven and earth in their day at least until the last apostle died .this just looks like typical crap that would only lead me to further arguement with them and in the end being demonized .anyone else with thoughts on the subject ?

Sangdigger- I have heard the explaination you are giving before and understand that to be a catholic interpretation of events .Are you cotholic ? I'm talking the part about where you believe Jesus went to hell or a prison to soothe the souls of sinners. I really don't get the part where the dub that studied with me totally pulled his explaination out of his ass and at the same time tried to beat me over the head with the concept of loyalty to the society teaching . I tell you what it took this thread and several others for me to realize what I was dealing with cause it brought to mind what was happening around me back several years ago.Very therapeutic I might add lol .These people can be very devious with new studies to a point of apostasy and the complete distruction of thinking for yourself seems to be one of the tools they use. They aren't the only ones who pull this tho .

Sangdigger- like I said the information I found was in the greatest man who ever lived ,They said something like -since jesus had not sinned that his body was an acceptable temple for him to dwell in so he did just that. I do remember hearing some suggest that he merely hid his body so that people wouldn't try to use it in a form of idolotry which of course appears to be contrary to the society explainion . The guy I studied with was an idiot and so are most of the heard.lol As far as the 1000 year reign ,they believe it hasn't started yet and won't start till after armageddon when jesus and the 144 thousand and 12 apostles rule together.They seem to believe that the annointed remnant that are in heaven now are ruling which doesn't make sense at all since they are all to start ruling at the same time as far as i can see in revelation .

They couldn't even beat Iran after 10 years of war .One of my concerns really is the axis of evil and the potential for other Arab nations to join in some kind of jihad it could be messy buisness but the US is loaded with high tech warfare equipment to handle just about any situation.
