did he ever get his law degree (old thread) does he practice law?.
or did he take over his in-laws sell cars to the wtbts dealership?.
what happened to the book ?.
Jaimebowers...great link, pretty much tells us what we came to this thread for...up to 2007 anyway. But it sums up BOTH of their Columbia U. resumees. Interesting. Thanks!

Not really relative to 'where he is now' but an interesting thread from 2006 re: JBS:

If he's a lawyer...wonder what kind of public records there are out there: BAR assoc. cases worked on / filed etc. Interesting thread.
if the elders ask a publisher if he thinks the society should change the blood policy or any policy and he admits that he thinks that something should be changed, then he can be disfellowshipped for apostasy.
however, it appears that the governing body periodically votes on proposed policy changes and a 2/3 majority is needed to make a change.
this means that governing body members often openly admit that they disagree with some official policies.
Great minds think alike DT...I had this same thought re: the GB way back when I first started posting.

To any lurkers out there: Don't be scared of this word...It's just something the GB uses to freak you out. It worked on me for a long time! Join the board and start posting.
i wanted to consolidate a lot of the information about the attack of anonymous against the watchtower society.
if you disagree with the tactics of anonymous, that's fine.
this information may still be useful as the public is made more aware of the the dangerous policies of the watchtower society.
V8.0 now available on pastebin (links on this thread, may have to go back a page or two) - They are still supposedly working on the 'MAJOR LEAKS'. We shall see...Flipper, you're right..I'll try not to be so impatient! ;-)
TD
at 37 years of age, i'm much to young for feeling this damn old, so apologies for sounding less than idealistic, but...... we need people who will be honest and true to themselves.
having offered jws the entire decade of my 20's while they tried to suck out my soul, i have come to appreciate how little of a desire these days i have to change the world.
which was sad at first.
AlltimeJeff...I joined about the same time as you. I really appreciate you experiences and comments here ( <--- Damn that sounds really JW of me)

still hoping, but no longer holding my breath. Interesting quote DT...thanks for posting.
a jw, who i know and trust, sent me the following email:.
"this year in tacoma i met a man at a retail store who said the watchtower societys nwt bible changed the original scriptures, especially john 1:1. he told me he owned all the old wt publications, including studies in the scriptures.
seems his non-jw uncle had collected them.
We actually visited the Tacoma Convention this year again...there was a small handful of people out there with signs. Maybe 4 or so. Very non threatning, boring message. You'd think they would google some pertanent JW news and use that. I think it might do a little more damage than "read the bible, not the watchtower"....that wont have any effect. Obviously JWs think they are avid bible students.

bahhh... Sorry DT, you posted the same thing already. I promise to pay attention in class from now on!
