Evil,
Pure evil you are! Yes, it was a sad night for the Packer fans last night.
You will make my day a little brighter when you put on that green & gold though.
it's 15 feet tall and still fresh, not a needle has fallen off yet.
so of course that means that it will remain where it is a bit longer.
sort of enjoyable to wake up in the early morning and see the glow from the tree throughout the house.

Ruby,
I agree! I believe all women should be independant and able to take care of themselves. My father left when I was a baby and never supported us in any way. I began working when I was 15 to help my mother with expenses and have been supporting myself and helping to support my own family ever since. I am not a feminist either but I have learned through experience that you cannot always count on another to take care of your needs.
I also believe that if someone wants to buy gifts or give money to someone, thats their choice. When you are given something it isnt taking, ya know? If someone gets burned, thay only have themselves to blame for giving too much in the first place.
BTW,
Welcome to the board Cass!

Gumby,
I have to admit, I probably couldnt resist peeking up at LB, especially if he were wearing shorts.

Holy Moly! What a tree!
Its so pretty LB! You must have used a ladder to decorate it!
I can see it now,
LB says to his wife whos wearing a skirt, "Honey, will you climb up the ladder to put the angel on, I'll stand under you and keep it steady."
on the chance that the photo may load i'll try this thread.
my wife is at the wedding that i was uninvited to at this moment.
we are giving her an engraved glass photo holder that duplicates their wedding invitation.
LB,
What a nice thing to do!
That is such a sweet idea. When my grandmother passed away, I noticed that she had saved everything from our wedding including our invitation, reception card and news paper clipping. I hadnt even thought of saving those things, it was so touching.
just a reminder to the minnesota flock.
just because i am not there to oversee the festivities does not mean i don't remember what happened the last time i visited greater north.
i would hate to think that there are divisions among the flock that would not allow for partaking of spiritual food.
This is Heaven reporting the current activities from the Minnesota apostafest as I have just received live phone coverage only minutes ago.. They do not have access to a computer at this time. Im not sure where this controversial meeting is taking place, the woods maybe? Geesh guys, no computer? Really?
Moving along,
As the phone was passed around the room, I was asked to play the infamous Guess that apostate game. I spoke with Gopher Joannadandy
I heard uncontrolled bouts of laughter as XW said it was "allllllll good" but something was also very "baaaaad".
Also, it appears a secret apostafest language has come about as XW then mentioned the word, "Bobulous" and that we are all encouraged to use our imaginations.
Scooter girl then yells to XW, "Did I get you wet?" for which I encourage us not to use our imaginations.
Joannadandy said her "pillowy goodness" pictures are on their way.
Eyegirl said, and I quote,"My bed is like a slip and slide and everyone is on it!"
The men made no comments to report. Hmmmmmm...
Anyway,
Have fun peeps & thanks hannibal,
I miss you all too!

i apologize in advance for the length.
when i finally resolved myself to choose a nick, after a year and a half spent as an infamous lurker, i very likely thought to be the only one from this vaticanland interested in this weird net-place and its inhabitants.
but yesterday i found out it's not this way.
Thank you for caring J.J.
Would love to hear more from you.
ok,,,i am patting myself on the back!!!!
( i did not take my humble pill today) i am just so happy and proud.... to anyone who reads this it may seem quite silly...but for me it is such an accomplishment... after months of therapy,,i have found the courage to "reveal" myself....i was able to reach out and write personally to 2 friends..it was great!!!!
fear!!!
I totally know what you mean.
It is so nice to finally connect with those who understand.
My coming out on this board was very strengthening for me. I was SO tired of hiding from everyone, especially my own family.
Im glad you are finding your strength.

Welcome JJ,
Wow, I can imagine how hard it must be for you to continue to attend the meetings. Leaving is not something everyone can do overnight though.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
