Oh my God!
I just checked out the link!
I dont know which more disturbing, The thought of that mother trying to get custody of her daughters baby or his advice to just to totally shun the both of them and then they will have more time for field service. I wrote earlier that I have a fear that once my children were older, my J.W. family would start brainwashing them.
Now Im going to have nightmares. The rest of the link is just totally bizarre. Is that for real? As he tells everyone not to read Crisis of Conscience, you can tell from what hes saying that hes read it cover to cover. It actually ecourages people to read it. Not only that, He totally exposes falsehoods of the Org. On a different note, Whats really sad is that my family is so brainwashed, I know they would listen to this guy and do everything he told them to. If there are more out there like this guy, These poor J.W.s dont stand a chance. God help them all.say it isnt so, this cant be for real! -

Part 4: The Last KM School
by Amazing inpart 4: the last km school .
the average jw elder participates in extra exclusive activities over and above the rank & file jw: among them are the judicial committees, private meetings with the circuit and district overseer on various official occasions, possession of the secretive flock book, and kingdom ministry school.. of all these, the least frequently experienced is km school.
it is not all that exciting, because much of what is covered is admonition about what most jws already know that elders are supposed to be doing: examples in field service, regular shepherding calls, meeting preparation and attendance, study with the family, etc.

Thanks,
Enlightening!
Wow, I was 1 year old when that was printed! I would hope that most people already know that sex is sex regardless of what type, well exept for our ex president... And I guess since the society does discourage education, some people may need it spelled out for them. So where does it say how they (the governing body) has a right to judge or make these decisions involving others? Doesnt the bible say that it is not our place to judge? Oh, yea, the "Gods only channel" thing. So what if it constantly changes, huh? I did see the word pornia in a more recent article describing pornography and the internet. I imagine the society is really trying to keep people off line knowing that sites like these are popping up everywhere. I am glad they are relaxing the rules for whatever reason, on separation. Now if they would just do the same with the blood issue I might sleep better at night. -

Would you employ a witness?
by sleepy inlets get all hypothetical.
lets imagine you are starting or have a business and you need an accountant.. one of your main concerns is their honesty.. you interview some potential employees.. they have very similar qualifications and experience.. the only difference is their religious beliefs.. person 1 is a catholic.. person 2 a moslem.. person 3 an atheist.. person 4 jehovah's witness.
(imagine you are not disfellowshiped so they wont shun you).

I wrote this somewhere earlyer but it deals with this subject too. My cousin, in her20s who had not attended meetings regularly, still living with her parents and was not baptized but her father was an elder,o.k. got that? She helped her witness "friend" get hired for a cleaning position in her office. My cousin, unfortionatly ended up having an affair with her married employer. (Somehow)[8>] the elders at their kingdom hall found out and called a meeting with my cousin. They told her that they informed her parents of everything. My cousin later tried to commit suicide. Thank God she wasnt successful. She is a very good person and her life has been hell.
Think twice before you decide to work with or hire a witness. especially if your still living with your J.W.family. Their first priority is the Org. They are taught if they dont tattle, then they are just as guilty as the offenders. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING

Dear Robert
by Mann indear robert, i have done quiet a lot of research into the jw's doctrines.
you see; i had to make an important decision on where i stood as far as jw's are concerned.this chat site was very helpful.
i have taken the most controversial members ( lol there are only three of you)from this site, in opposition to eachother and used your arguments and reasongings to "help" make my mind over on what i would do.. the thing that struck me most about your arguments were: you kept giving glory to jehovah and his son, you used scriptures to back up your points (glad you didn't give out where to find those scriptures) you didn't make excuses for the wtbs errors, and misdeeds, and the most important point was your pointing out that jehovah himself will judge and spank his own people.

I think Mr.Mann needs therapy, he sounds a little upset.
Oops, I forgot, The W.T.S discourages that too.
Mr.Mann, Shame on you, what kind of language is that, what would Jehovah think?! Oh, yea, your listening to the org. again we are scum and should be treated as such. You sound like a real sweetie, I want to be in the new system with a bunch of people just like you! Not, -

Mr.Mann sounds very familliar,
Are you sure your not my uncle? I used to be the same way, I was so sure I was right. I totally believed the Org. Boy, do I feel stupid now. I now have to live with the guilt of getting others involved in such a manipulating organization. He sounds like every witness I know. We were trained well and dont start a debate because we will always have the last word. I still love to debate but now I speak the truth. If the "light was getting brighter, the truth would get clearer and more apparent, not change. That makes it a lie to begin with. Face it, Weve been had. Please, before you knock on another door insisting you have the "truth", make sure that it is.
P.S. I told my mother, I wish Jesus or Armageddon would just come already So we can once and for all know the truth. Her reply was, "Oh no, I havnt got my hours in" [8>] -

O.K. so,,,,,,,
basically you can seperate from someone but not divorce unless they commit adultry. Makes sense, I would think if you are seperate from someone long enough they will eventually commit adultry and then you will have your grounds. Anyway, I think circumstances should decide as in my mothers situation. I still believe this is another instance where the organization should not involve themselves in peoples lives.
As far as what type of sex is adultry, The fact that they are talking about it to that extent is just plain wierd. Like its any of their buisness. Do people honestly go into detail. Does that seem normal to you? Its not like they are their lawyers or anything. To me its just another example of how much control the Org. has over its members. Creepy... -
