They ignore many scriptures.

when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You must not get frightened at him.

Its like God is trying to warn everyone of false prophets.
The W.T.S uses fear to control J.W.s by threatening death at armageddon. If witnesses would just open the bible, they would see that they do not need to fear this false prophesying organization.
Its so bizarre how the truth can be so apparent but still hidden from so many.

men are like,.

lava lamps.. fun to look at, but not very bright.. laxatives.. they irritate the sh*t out of you.. bananas.. the older they get, the less firm they are.. vacations.. they never seem to be long enough.. bank machines.. once they withdraw, they lose intrest.. weather.. nothing can be done to change them.. cement.. after getting laid, they take a long time to get hard.. commercials.. you cant believe a word they say.. government bonds.. they take so long to mature.. horoscopes.. they always tell you what to do and are usually wrong.. mascara.. they usually run at the first sign of emotion.. popcorn.. they satisfy you, but only for a little while.. snowstorms.. you never know when they are comming, how many inches you'll get or how long it will last.. blenders.

you need one, but you're not quite sure why.. parking spots.. the good ones are all taken and the rest are all handicapped.

How Would You Respond?

below is an email i received this morning, can you feel the love from the spiritual paradise?

this brings it to a new level of accusations, now i am apparently gay according to the jw gossip mill.

i will have to add that to the list.

What did you do during the written review

by far the most boring part of all meetings is the written review.

what kind of stuff did you guys (male and female) do to pass the time.

i either to write computer programs, sleep talk to my wife or sleep in the car.

Taking the written review.
I almost forgot about those.
I enjoyed looking around at all the people taking the test, pretending to know the answers and then writing them in as we went over it.
I was always hoping the elder conducting the test would have everyone pass it to the person sitting behind them to check, like we did in school.
I cant believe I actually thought that was normal, like all religions gave written tests. Puhleease!!! How manipulating.

Who will go to heaven?

i know that jw's say only 144,000. however, i just read a book called "as time runs out" by robert jeffress and he claims that all christians who have received jesus will be picked up at the rapture.

but, he says, we will not all have the same rank in heaven.

he claims that different responsibilities will be assigned.

I do believe in heaven.
I havnt been able to 100% believe anyones interpretation of it though. Most religions seem to take the whole idea of heaven and obviously put their own spin on it. You know the whole 144,000 thing for example.
I think its impossible for us to comprehend what heaven would be like or who would be there. I believe that it would be a spiritual existance. The only life we have experienced is the one we are living here on earth.

How Do You Deal With Telemarketers?

jw's at your door are a nuisance, but so are telemarketers on the phone.

how do you deal with them?.

i sometimes say, "i'm very interested in what you have to say, but excuse me for just a minute, i have to go to the bathroom.".

I tell them we are too busy,
then I ask them for their home telephone number and tell them I will call them back tonight while they are spending time with their family.
