  i was attacked here when i first admitted that i was studying with the jw's.

  i also noted that blessed_something or other (sorry, bad memory) was attacked also....just because we say something positive about the jw's!

  i think that is mighty unfair and defeats the purpose of you trying to turn us against the jw's.

  Violet,
  I am sorry that you have experienced such a painful ordeal.
  You must realize that many here including myself have endured pain also. I have never brought this up but I have gone through something similar with a man before I met my husband. I usually do not discuss it but you brought up a valid point. I do not blame any organization for the fact that someone forced himself on me either. If he was Catholic I would not blame the Catholic religion. Not that I know or care to know his religion but I do understand your point. Trust me, I was even prepared to write off men all together. I couldnt stand the sight of them.
  If there was anything I could do to prevent others from going through that, I would.
  There are people and agencies that can help you, if you let them.
  This is different Violet.
  I believe I have every right to blame the W.T.S for my families pain. Their bogus blood doctrine and constant brainwashing is the main cause of my grandfathers death.
  As far as leaving and getting on with our lives,
  I am getting on with my life. If I am here when Im 100 years old then so be it. I will not stop telling the truth about the W.T.S until they stop killing innocent people.

  so lets put aside our negative comments and throw a cyber-space send off for violet's up coming baptism into dubdom.

  she said she's planning on getting baptised soon and clearly our advice and negative thoughts are hurting her feelings.

  Even witnesses believe there is a heaven.

  Question for those who believe the bible.

  a thread started by realist which mentioned the flood and the disappearance of the dinosaurs got me thinking.

  since i do not own a bible i had to download one from the internet to check a few things out (my computer is really pissed at me now).

  it's been many years since i read the bible but i needed to be accurate in my research to ask my question.

  Violet,
  My J.W. grandfather cant "get on with his life". He lies in his grave because he died during a surgery in which he refused a blood transfusion.

  I am not here to "wallow in self pity".
  I am here to let people know of the pain and suffering that the W.T.S has caused and is still capable of causing unless they make some seriouse changes in their teachings.

  Statement That All should Read!

  jehovah was peace before he made "man", jehovah was peace after he made "man", and jehovah still is peace, so why do we continue to fight?

  people who engage in violence/war are foolish, and they knoweth nothing, cause if they knoweth anything they would'nt fight.

  when people go to war, they is not killing their enemies, they are only killing more & more of god's children, for the simply fact that we all is god's children...millions fight over lands, but as i mention before this life is not suppose what it's suppose to be, visions of the earthly paradise that was plan from the beginning was jehovah plan, in reality, all of mankind is suppose to enjoy each other visits, from one part of the earth, to other.. why you be so ignorant of the visions of the armageddon messiah?

  I am so beyond sensitive. I did not say that I thought you called "me" unintelligent. I said "some" may take it that way.

  Just as I quoted this statment.You said,
  "Yer too comfortable in your set way of thinking and are too scared to face facts..."

  I will quote you on this statement. You said,
  "please...learn to be a little less sensitive"
