  Help me ... getting w..e....a.......k

  angharad has abandoned me and gone on a girls night out!.

  to cut a long story short - i'm starving to death and the end may be only minutes away .... there is a large white box in a place called "kitchen" (hey, it lights up when you open the door!

  ) and apparently this can be used with a "noven" or "micro-drive" (or was it "wave"?

  hey everyone!

  i have been posting on a "crisis in the catholic church" discussion board about jws/pedophiles/dateline show.

  it doesn't get much action, but i would like what i post to come across with the most impact.

  Abuse is not isolated to any particular group. Unfortionatly it exists everywhere.

  hey everyone!

  It doesnt matter which religious organizaton the abuse is taking place in. If there is abuse of any kind, it needs to be made public so it can be put to an end. The reason the abuse has persisted for so long in the Catholic church is because the leaders did not take correct action. The same could be said for any other organization dealing with similar issues.

  "How will this help build up the kingdom of God?"

  Maybe people may realize that a personal relationship with God does not have to be accessed through any organization. I believe Jesus is the only mediator.

  "How will all of this help those who have been abused?"

  Unfortionatly nothing can undue the suffering these victims of abuse have endured. Although some victims may feel validated by knowing that their abusers are convicted, Im sure they would also feel relief knowing that many potential victims would be spared.

  you gotta love the watchtower printing corporation.

  they sell air and they make a bloody fortune doing it!

  knorr was selling air that made people feel good, even though they couldnt explain exactly why it made them feel good.. here we have some comments about a watchman classtm whose main sin is not wanting to sell watchtower books.

  The W.T.S does take symbolic biblical verses and interprets them literally whenever it suits their own purpose. When it stops serving their purpose or when it comes back to haunt them, they change the interpretation and call it "new light" etc.
  Why cant more people see this?
  I feel like if I can figure it out, anyone could.
  I guess what I am most annoyed but most impressed with is the W.T.S. ability to convince so many people to devote their lives, give up having children and work for free writing, printing, distributing, recruting new members but give them nothing but false hope and promises in return.

  You mentioned J.W.s dislike of Catholics.
  I agree. I also feel that the W.T.S. dislikes almost every religion except their own. Maybe they are the most threatened by the Catholic religion since they are so huge and have been around so much longer than most others.

  Reading this kind of stuff still always freaks me out.
  It is so true though. J.W.s do have the "we are your spiritual family" mentality. So eerie and cult like in my opinion. Its like the organizatoin is trying to distance members from their family, unless of course they are J.W.s.

  ok.......... the house across the street stayed empty a long time.

  finally it was bought and soon rented out to what appeared at first, a group of college kids.

  Moving is such a big job.
  With the kids Im sure you are packing one box as they are emptying out another. Dont forget to take time out for a very deserved bubble bath and nap. Hey, we can still dream cant we?.

  i read many comments on this board about the similarities the wt has with the catholic church.

  how come the catholic church and not other?.

  would satan mimic a church which wouldn't be the one christ found and die for?.

  I cant believe I missed this thread!
  I have got to stop being so busy!!!
  I remember my J.W. aunt once told me that Catholics are the easiest to convert to witnesses. She was saying this because I was marrying a Catholic and her husband who was an elder at the time used to be a Catholic. She said this was because most Catholics are deeply religious and traditional but do not know much about religion or God in general and easily swayed. Isnt that awful? My husband is very spiritual, traditional and religious. I would never try take that from him. His religion doesnt have any life threatening doctrines or regulations that I know of. He is not hurting himself anyone by attending and he would never push his beliefs on others so I see no reason to object. It is big part of him as a person. I admire his devotion to his faith. I must say, sometimes Im even a bit jealous.

  i have been holding back through the first two rounds as i get to excited to shout and scream.

  today for the first time i drove around with my flag on the truck.

  i can`t get my hopes up to soon as i usually do but i can`t hold back any longer "i am weak"!.
