  The org's "new lights" - corrupting Proverbs 4:18

  proverbs 4:18 says, "but the path of the righteous....grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.".

  the bible "light" doesn't get brighter - it never changes - it's a person's direction & course of life which gets brighter.. w11 9/15 p. 14 par.

  15 - "when spiritual light on some matter gets brighter, do you try to understand the underlying scriptural reasons for the adjustment?

  The content produced by the WT—whether it's videos, books, magazines, or talks—creates a culture where individuals become so self-righteous that they abandon common sense and compassion. The fear of man outweighs the fear of God. Most elders would never admit to watching porn, and understandably so. Who wants to experience invasive questions about their personal life? This only leads to an organization filled with individuals who lead double lives, creating a community of hypocrites who believe they have the right to judge others. True friendship is extremely rare within this organization, because the WT teaches you not to be a friend.

  Who Was The Biggest Jackass Circuit Overseer You Ever Met?

  there was on older white-haired circuit overseer in houston around 1989 or 1990. last name started with a w i think.... not sure though.

  For me the CO's last name was a guy called Staryki, something like that, anyways he's a %^^$## ASSHOLE, he abused his power to no end, I guess it was because he must of had no love growing up and his father must of been just as big of an asshole as he was, hopefully he's dead today.

  Absolutely, I had to deal with this when I left 20+ years ago. How could I have been fooled all those years? All that time wasted preaching, teaching, pioneering, eldership, attending all meetings, the assemblies, travelling to conventions, accepting discipline and talks from total imbeciles, etc

  All this for nothing, no way, It has to be the TRUTH. It was really tough to admit I was wrong and Quit.

  I wasn't supposed to see my 13th birthday when 1975 hit, was terrified everyday that year that I would be destroyed, and here we are it's 2024.

  I wish there was an easier way to get through to many of my old friends and family that still won't leave.

  For JWs, image, status and power is everything. The GB is well aware that removing another member will cause a stain on the whole organization. The chosen by God member can be in a hospital, all plugged in and about to propel himself into heaven, he won't step down, the other members won't allow it. Their position as GBs are too high to leave without repurcussions. If anything, the Org will promote the crap out of the situation and say what a wonderful example he was during his whole JW career, a tribute to his faith while he's on his deathbed. I'm positive that the current GB will never talk or mention this guy again. He screwed up and got kicked out. Their silence is their way of dealing with the aituation and they hope it won't cause too much damage. Anyone being around this Org for many years are very familiar with this MO. - I'm so Fedup with these guys...

  Elders are no longer teachers

  back in the day when i was a young witness lad, you very much got the impression that at least the training as theocratic teachers was good.. even the bible reading back then had a short introduction and conclusion.

  you had to research and prepare your own ministry school talks and then perhaps you would graduate to a half of a 55 minute public talk.

  then later if you were a book study conductor, you got to decide which scriptures to read and highlight.

  Being a JW and going to meetings is great... if you want someone else to do your thinking.

  I was an elder for many years and everything came canned from the Org, the elders just had to serve it, no added thoughts or opinions.

  I stopped a long time ago, was just fed-up of all the BS
