  Flyers put on car windscreens @ conventions

  has anyone thought of putting leaflets on car windscreens at the district conventions that are coming up?.

  all good jws should be at the convention - if they are using public/football ground car parks, then it will be easy to target their vehicles and put a leaflet on them.

  I remember as a child and even when I was older seeing the people outside protesting. I was instructed by my father not even to look in their direction. If I did I got smacked in the head in frount of everyone. I know not every JW would take the same action that my father did, they all for the most part won't even look. I think the best thing is to keep the media involved as much as possible. If you protest outside let your local news people know when, and why. Bring run off copies of the WT stand on their policy and have people telling why they are so adimit about their stand. I think it would definately draw the attention of the convention goers if the cameras were there. Jesika Thoman Dallas, Tx

  a moment ago i was sitting here typing a post and all the while i kept hearing a polite little "meow" from one of my cats every ten or twenty seconds.

  after submitting the post i looked down to pet the cat and to my horror its tail was under one of the wheels of my chair.

  Question about Bill Bowens Hearing

  has anyone heard what became of bill's latest hearing?last i heard he was having a hearing on the 28th of last month,but i didn't see any news on it.anyone have any idea's or thoughts about it?

  I have heard the term Apostofest before. I laughed when I heard it the first time, I think Bill Bowen was the one who told me about the Apostofest. I don't think he went but told me about them, I can't remember. I am looking forward to meeting you all and talking with everyone online. I am very new to the internet, so I don't really know how to chat in rooms. When I have tried I have been kicked out of them, so I quit trying, but I am learning. I started getting on the internet after the Dateline airing, and got an email add. after becoming active on silentlambs. What congregations did you all attend in Dallas. I was in White Rock. Does anyone know Michael Thoman(it's pronounced toemen)? He is my father.

  jw women have a greater need than jw men to stay ever vigilant and attentive of the watchtower's back and forth rules and regulations which they have the nerve to teach is "new light" from god.

  depending on the "new light" from the governing body, if she doesn't scream during a rape, she will be charged by the elders as an adulteress ... someone who may have actually 'enjoyed' the violent act because of her silence.

  if another jw woman was raped in 1969 and she didn't scream, she would not be disfellowshipped.

  Wow!!! That's alot of people in Dallas. I would love to meet with you guys, as long as everyone is no longer in the "truth". Since I am new I don't know everyone yet.   How Common is this amongst JW's?

  i found this material on a pro-jw newsletter, and i've had this personal experience myself and know many others who have also.

  before i became a jw i experienced a tremendous amount of "love" from the congregation i associated with, but once baptized they leave and move on to the next potential convert.

  as a single person, i was never invited out to gatherings very much and always felt a little left out in the very clique-ish congregation that i attended.

  I was one of the ones with the "popular" last name. The only attention I remember getting was to watch how I was going to bring reproach on my family's name. The other kids in the cong didn't want to get too close for fear I would tell on them to the elders in the cong (which all but two were family members). I had attention in the KH but after I got disfellowshipped, as we all know, it stopped. I remember wishing that I didn't have the name that I did. I do agree with what everyone is saying, since I saw my father do the same thing with people he studied with. As soon as they were baptized it was no longer his responsibility. Sad but very true!!!!!   Hi everyone. I am new here, but I have had the opportunity to meet Bill in person just recently at the press conference in Minnesota. It was not my suit, I was there for support. It gave me the chance to ask him some questions and this was one of them. The elders have been instructed to contact Bill only through his lawyer, but because of there disreguard for legal authority they continue to contact him directly. All proceedings have been put on hold since Bill won't go without witnesses there. I talk to Bill often through email to find out how he is and what he will be involved in next. He doesn't tell me everything only what he can. Nice to be here by the way. Love Jesika Thoman Dallas, Tx
