My son had to have major surgery at 2days old. A 50-50 chance of living. He is 8 now, and healthy. None of my JW family even called or visited. I am happy he is alive and healthy and my JW family missed it all, they are not healthy for him, so he is growing up normal---which makes me smile everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand what you are feeling. I lost my whole life at 15. I looked around at all the people who believed my father(elder) about the fact he wasnt abusing me, even though i had visible bruses. Noone even cared to hear my side, much less believe me. I still hurt because of all the people who told me they would always be there for me, and when i needed them, they werent there. My whole life was gone, everything i ever knew. It isnt easy, and i did it on my own. You have MANY friends here that will help you, I didnt have that. At the age of 15 i had to make very adult decisions, and I am glad i did. I MAY HAVE HIT BOTTOM
by BONEZZ ini thought i'd hit it several times before...as i have been thru the divorce over the past couple of years...lost all my so-called friends...lost my belief in what i thought was the "truth"....and now my own loving daughter, being the good little dub she is has told me she doesn't want me to walk her down the aisle at her wedding.
she told me today at lunch.
i almost threw up.
