  I scored an 85 too, I didn't want to say so, but damn. The way the "results" commented, I was like "I pleade (sp?) the 5th" !!

  Oh well.

  my husband and i were discussing the thread about ripostes to jws who shun you in public...and we came up with a cool idea for halloween this year!

  first, find out if it is on a meeting night or if the local pizza hut will be hosting the annual jw hide-from-the-trick-or-treaters 'get together'.

  then dress up like a smurf, blue body paint and all, but maybe with an axe burried in your head and fake blood....and either go knock on the kingdom hall door during the meeting and say 'trick or treat!

  Ok...I'm new here

  i'm a 25 yr old female that was in the "organization from birth until about 18. my mom was babtized; dad was an unbeliever.

  is there anyone else that can related to my background/situation that feels 100% meloncholocy and pessimistic about everything in this world?

  i feel like when i was growing up, i was taught that, basically, i could not be a part of society.

  Most of us here can relate to some, if not all of what you are talking about.

  Just stick around and read, you will learn alot or be able to relate to alot of us here. This place has been very healing to me and many others.

  If you choose not to believe in god, like I have, we don't judge you for it. That in itself is very healing, not to be judged is nice.

  GOING TO A KH FUNERAL NEXT WEEK

  it will be the first time i've entered a kh in about 4 or 5 years.

  the woman who died was very old.

  i hadn't seen her in a very long time, we weren't close but i remember her being really nice to us as kids.

  I was going to go to a funeral not long ago, but I couldn't make it.

  I did however visit the gravesite of another older sister who was very nice to all the kids in the cong.

  I am glad you are going, wish I could have made the funeral I was gonna go to.

Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph.

  edited to steal kings from Chevy

  Well, I found them all!!!!!!!! All 16, with a little help from Chevy with the kings, I didn't see. I didn't understand what the "Yes,there" was that Chevy highlighted, but I found esther on my own (with a little help from the table of contents from a catholic bible ), and then it made sense .

  God I hate brainteasers, but it was fun.

  i went to a temp agency today, and i failed word and excel testing.

  the woman said if i get my computer skills up she could find me a job alot sooner.

  my boyfriend has been teaching me, he works with computers at his job.

  Tex........Sure, I would love some lessons. Alex is off for the rest of the week, so I will let you know k? BTW, I just sent Nina another story, ummmm if you have read my first one that is. I just wrote a story using Word trying to get used to it. SOOOOOOOOO many buttons, it gets confusing, but so was email when I first started using it.
