In this weeks Bible reading (1Cor chap 10-16) I met an intresting verse : Nobody can say: Jesus is Lord! exept by holy spirit. -1Cor 12:3

So, what does it say if we only say Jehovah is Lord?

The anointed and the great crowd having same spiritual dispensation?

i've been searching but can't come up with the right terms.

recently there was a post of an article saying that the anointed remnant and the great crowd neither were inspired or different spiritually or something.. does anyone know what i'm talking about and can you point me to the article?.

thanks in advance for sorting out my confused mind!.

I read this article, nice that they accept now new anointed brothers and sisters.

Why did they primarly persecute new anointed ones?

I think the main reason was to keep them away from giving "new understanding" contrary to Governing Body, like Catholic inquisition.

This article was written in the same spirit, so that nobody would listen to other anointed than those in the Governing Body. In the same time they recently clearly stated in the WT that all anointed are the slave-class. And that the Governing Body represents those. That should mean that they are open to listen individuals among the anointed, about their Bible-understanding. But they refuse. On my webpage www.freewebs.com/scripturalanswers you can find new bibleunderstanding. The Goverining body got the same information. But I did not get any reply.

Question on two types of JWs in the earthly New System

who would choose the earthly hope of being confined to a purely physical body on this tiny earth for eternity when we and our loved ones can be like christ, enjoying eternity in both a new heaven and a new earth, where the physical and the spiritual will be connected in a way that is beyond our imagination?

According to Revelation chap 20 the second resurrection begins when the 1000 years have ended. It will not occure during the 1000 year period. Also satan will be released for a short while after the 1000 years. If we believe that a "short while" is going on since 1914,( when as some say satan was hurled down to earth for a "short while"), then imagine how short time he will misslead people after the 1000 year reign.

This will frigthen only those who believe that the time since 1914 is a short while.

What a New C.O. Arrangement Might Do

firstly, laying off c.o.

's would not solve the problem of appointing elders by agreement of the governing body.

as long as they are appointed remotely, these elders could be looked upon as agents of the watchtower society.

I think the most biblical-logical would be to put the congregations in the hands of willing anointed brothers individually. And that they give their personal spiritual food to their congregation so that they can train to be kings and priests for the future. Anointed sisters could also do much good, according to Pauls exhortations.

Then the question: Who is faithful and discreet slave? will get it's real meaning. And as Jesus Christ is the head the congregation, the Governing Body would not be neaded.

Wouldn't that be sound?

ive long held the belief the wt is more a heavy handed pusher and seller of moralistic laws than spiritual guidance,.

it was strongly re commfirmed after the latest convention.. did anyone else notice this?.

any comments on the drama?.

Comments on the drama, I felt the drama was maid on my reallife story. This bad former elder said just the same things I have said. And he had helped brothers to get work at his wordly companion´s bisness. I helped 5 brothers to get employed at the same place were I worked. I was also hospitable, for 2 years different needy brothers and sisters lived with my family in our appartment. I teached new things like: It is not nessesary to do so much field service were we have already preached. And I told the brothers: Nobody has been able to prove with the Bible that I am wrong. In the drama "John" didn't that either. I have been saying also Jehovah's blessing will make us rich. And that the governing body seem to be envying brothers who have it better materialy. And I still say as this main person in the drama said to "John": I forgive you, but of course I would like to be accepted by the members in the governing body.

I thought, they disfellowshiped me, but Jehovah maid this "former elder" in the drama spread the thougths I wanted.

just to review, i had my meeting today with the two elders who say a sister has accused me of "grinding" with her and thus porneia.

so i printed out several of your comments on how to defend myself.

i felt good about standing my ground, and repeating that i had not "grinded" with this ex-friend and that she wants to ruin the relationship i have now with the sister i am dating.. however, the two elders today really tried to pressure me.

I served in un other country also. I maid my best in the service. It was not appreciated anyway by the elders who felt inferior. I think you will have big problems with your elders. Why not study my webpage www.freewebs.com/scripturalanswers and next time you meet your congregation´s elders you trouble them with some very simple new truths they will not be able to deny. May be they will disfelloship you as an apostate but before you get disfellowshiped use the time effectivelly to spread new bible truths. You will have at least 2 weeks. After that you continue to go to the meetings once a week and they will be remembered of what you have said.

A did like that, I asked every one I could: According to the Revelation we are living during the second woe, the cavalry. And do you remember what is the next woe coming after the second? Usually nobody remembers. Then you say it is the birth of God´s Kingdom, the third woe.

So God´s kingdom´s birth is after the second woe. That they will never forget. And you have helped them come nearer the truth.

The Governing Body is stealing Ray Franz's ideas

on page 267 of "crisis of conscience" ray franz made the observation that the '95 new light on "generation" came shortly after he described what the governing body needed to make the doctrine continue to work.

my copy of his book came out before this year's "new light" on "the generation".

however, on page 265 of ray's book another possible "out" for the society is given.

As I've understud from the Bible the generation begins with the time called "the conclusion of system of things" but I don't think we have come to the conclusion yet. The drama was about me!

i was today at the assembly and the drama was inspired by my story.

i was pictured as the former elder who influences badly on the congregation by saing "now when it has been so widely preached in our territory it is time to concentrate on helping poor people.

then back to sweden to the russian group where i was about 7 years.

I did not get any reply from the Society. My congregation elders did not either get any reply. Then in March I invited 2 elders to me at home. I wanted to show them what the Bible really teaches and I wanted that we together write to the Society but they of course did not agree, but said if I tell somebody about these things they will inmediately disfellowship me. But I said to them I will continue to spread the truth. And I did it before and after the meetings at our Kingdom Hall. And a week before the Memorial they disfellowshiped me. I think many of them understud that the WT-society have false ideas. One elder said: May be you are right in all, but you are not allowed to speak about it, before it comes in the WT. Un other said: Even if what you say comes in the WT, do you think we will take you back? Then soon at the circuit assembly our circut oversee said in his speach someting like this: The ideas of apostates are very dangerous, it is very easy to believe them. And now at the district convention one said some thing like: It seems that the apostates can stike with what ever. And he sounded helpless. But I don't think I am an apostate. When the elders asked me if I think I am an apostate, I said to them that apostle Paul said that apostates are those who say the resurrection has already begun. But I do not claim the resurrection has begun. I think they understud who teaches that a resurrection has begun. I hope they will stop to do that.

Here is my letter to the Governing Body in December 2007, wich inspired the drama: The letter i wrote: To the Governing Body From Jan Kosonen Dear brothers, I would like to share my knowledge and skills with you, to encrease The Lord's properties and his servant's joy. I am 33 years old. I work as a carpenter. I'm married. My wife is 34 years old. We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I left school after 9 years elementary school, became a pioneer when I was 15 years old, I was pioneer for 5 years. I grew up in a finnish congregation in Sweden. When I became a pioneer I started to join the english-speeking congregation. Later I became a member there and a ministerial servant. When I was 19 I went to Latvia in 1994. I had saved money and studied russian for 10 months. I was there for a year and some months. Then 3 months in Estonia. Then a year in the russian group in Sweden. Then back to Latvia for a year and a half. Then back to Sweden to the russian group where I was about 7 years. During that time I have conducted bookstudy groups, had a lot of programs at meetings, translated assembly and meeting programs to russian, had I think all kind of practical assignments for ministerial servants, also had some responsibilities that elders usualy have. I have also had a joy to find an intrested person and to study the bible with him and he got baptised after 6 months and he became a pioneer after a short while. Now he is back in Russia. And my oldest daughter is also a publisher, she is 11 years old. I have always tried to help people, so for about two years different people and a family have lived with us in our 3 room apartment. I have helped serval persons to get a work at my wordly bosses smal company. 6 of them work there now and they have helped 5 others to join us. So now we are 12 of wich 6 are baptised brothers, 5 intrested, 1 may be intrested. Now I am in a Swedish congregation, named Skärholmen, and recently i became convinced that I have got the heavenly call, and become anointed with the holy spirit. For 3 years ago I was unemployed and I used the free time in Jehovah's service. I read the bible through in about 3,5 months and I got a real spiritual uplift. I became able to prepare to all meeting programs, read all the litterature. It was for the first time in my life I managed to do that. It felt like I had understud and learnt for 3 months more than I had for 17 years before that since my baptism. But I was worried how I would continue to pray and read the Bible 10 pages a day when I get a work, and not to lose that spiritual level. Then I got different works and I could not continue with the same spiritual program, not until now for approximately a months. When I was unemployed I even checked all the scriptures when I prepared for the meetings. But now when I prepare to the meetings with my family I can not check so many scriptures. But now when I have been studing the bible so intensly by prayer, Jehovah has open my eyes to understand many things more deeply and more exaclty, and I would like to share with you with the increasing knowlege, so that all God's people could rejoice in understanding more and know how to do God's will more productively, increasing His intrests on earth. I would like to wright to You about themes like: Establishment of Gods kingdom Great tribulation Time of heavenly resurection Earthly Jerusalem Man of Lawlessness, Anticrist Womens role at meetings Families importance in last days How to plan your life for young people How to increase bible knowledge and love for Jehova God and Jesus Crist. How to make preaching and meeting programs more effective to reach the gools for them. The role of anointed brothers and sisters in God's congregation And other themes I would also be happy to be invited to work at the headquarters with you to give spiritual food to God's people and to do practical works. Of course I can not leave my family so they would need to come with me.
