  just curious...i have been pretty damm open and honest in my posts here....i just throw a curve ball now and then since i am a fader..........but have been discovered correctly by two old friends who suspected it was me.......and i let them know they were right, and am sooo glad i did.....thanks red red rose and bonnzo................oompa.

  with the latest surge of anti-european comments and threads from us anti-progressives on this board, a little bit american self-criticism may be appropriate.. since the eighties, income inequality has been on the rise in american society.

  most economists, however, agree that redistributing wealth is a legitimate role for any modern enlightened government.

  and even alan greenspan labelled us income inequality a "disturbing tend" which could lead to societal instability.

  saw robert f. kennedy, jr. give a lecture on "it's not easy being green" and "crimes against nature" last night at utc.

  he really knows his stuff about what is going on with the environment.

  he talked about how the coal mining in west virginia has torn down large mountains because they dump the rocks and soil into the rivers then the mountains are gone.

  Electric cars get their recharges from,

  the electric grid

  Most of the U.S electricity comes from

  ...........................Coal, dirty old coal

  Wind power will help

  Wave power will help

  Solar panels will help

  Methane capturing will help

  We also need to better utilize Natural Gas

  It only makes sense to keep our house

  in order

  Nothing is simple, but it should still be done

  We cannot be fanatics or Luddites about it though

  We need rational, comprehensive solutions

  every weekend we used to spend a few hundred dollars going out to lunch.

  but since less than a year, we no longer go out.

  my husband business has been very slow, and on top of that, the management companies he does work for, do not pay him right away.

  ( i still have my whole family in.......so..... i prefer to remain inactive).

  i've been doing a bit of thinking... (probably a dangerous thing, i know).

  i have been 'out' for a very long time - and so have not looked at any wtbts books or magazines in a very long time.. recently, i went to a group on facebook - where there were posted a few drawings that have appeared in wt publications through the years.

  i recognize one or two (one purple one from the 'paradise' book).. the one thing that stands out to me - now - is that the men, after the big 'a' are nicely dressed... slacks, shirt, pull-over perhaps... but no neckties.. so.

  Bound Volumes aka Garbage

  holy shit , i haven't been here for some time.

  i recently moved and finally tossed out about 500 lbs of watchtower/awakes and bound volumes going back to the 50's .this sister unloaded them on me before she moved and at the time i thought they were like somekind of holy writings.

  i kept a couple of the old ones so i can use them to start fires in my new place.

  did you ever notice how serious i post on this board?.

  it's interesting to me, but i haven't tried to make any friends.

  that is because when i first left, i had a somewhat negative experience meeting someone on a jw board...(i am just saying that, it isn't the point of this thread...).
