Sooooo, you're saying our wedding is off?
Hmmm
i just wanted to share a few things that are on my heart and mind...hope you don't mind reading.
the church i'm affiliated with has several sister churches around the world.
the purpose of those relationships is to encourage and help each other grow in our relationship with god and christ, whether it be by spiritual encouragement or physical help.
Sooooo, you're saying our wedding is off?
Hmmm
i have really enjoyed getting to know so many of you.
don't consider this a permanent goodbye, as i'll most likely stop back every now and again to see how you are faring.
and to keep you updated with me and the family deal.. the reality is, this board was great for me while i was pregnant, i was so sick.
But we never got to see the bikini biker-babe pinup photos!!!
just so i don't miss anybody who is interested.... my results from the ekg and the echogram showed a severe leak in a heart valve.
i am going for an angiogram on the 15th but the cardiologist says the liklihood is great that i will need open heart surgery.
rare for a 30 year old but if necessary, it is necessary.. no word yet on the results of the blood work for liver enzymes and hepatitis.
OK OK I get the point, Cygnus. I'm putting down the super-duper meat-lovers cardiac special from Pizza Shack. Sheesh.
Hang in there.
Hmmm
there was a middle-aged woman in our kingdom hall who was a long time pioneer.
she was a very warm and loving woman and so when she announced her plans for a family vacation one year some of us got together and took up a little collection so that she would have some extra money to spend.
after all, she was working hard for jehovah and werent we supposed to show our appreciation?.
What would I have done?
I would have used the ID in the wallet to track the person down. Then I would have called them and said "I found your wallet with $285 in it!"
Hmmm
i will spare you all the gory details until she is ready to post them.
my mom (mulan) is having trouble with my grandma again.
looks like this time she has finally burned her last available bridge and will be moving out.
(((((Mulan)))))
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Here's hoping things brighten up. You've got lots of friends here sending happy thoughts your way.
Hmmm
classroom forming!
exit issues regarding the watchtower .
and other undue influence groups (cults)
I'm on the cusp of going public with my family, and I worry that helping them out could be more painful than they could bear. If I weren't almost on the other side of the country it would be a no-brainer.
Then again, I do have some vacation time coming to me. What are the dates of the class?
there are a few pc strategy games that i've had for awhile, and pretty much played out, but i've never played anything over the internet against real opposition!
anyone interested in setting something up with:.

D8TA,
I thought about checking out Galactic Battlegrounds while waiting for Galaxies to come out, but the SW line of games has had some real stinkers in it. How would you compare it to other RTS games, like Starcraft, Dune, C&C?
Hmmm
was russell a freemason and was he a member of the adventist church?
I heard this story from someone who knows someone whose great-great aunt saw this event actually take place.
Russell was walking down the street in Pittsburgh one day in the late 1800s. He passed a large building which a work crew was facing with bricks. The brickwork was completed to a height of about three feet, and the workers were several feet along down the building.
Russell noticed that one of the bricks had fallen from the top course. He picked up the brick, placed it back in it's proper place, and smushed it into the bed of mortar.
The foreman saw this and thanked Russell. Russell replied, "No charge." So yes, he was a free mason--at least for a time.
Now can somebody tell me what the big deal is?
