Heard this on the TV tonight that married people live 9 years longer than single people. Another reason to be pissed at my ex for divorcing me. Oh well, he is left handed and they live less time than right handers. He just lost even more time off his life. Anyone else hear these two statistics?

Juicing: veggies & fruit.
by LouBelle ini decided to live a healthier life and get some proper vitamins into my system other than poping a pill i'd get a juicer and start incorporating juiced veggies & fruit into my lifestyle.. in the begining drinking veggie juice - even with juiced apples wasn't the most delicious thing but i have to admit that the more i do it the more i enjoy it.. i juice a whole range of veggies from carrots to beets to celery.
and it definately has made a difference.
once a month i just juice - no food.

The best machine is a Vita-Mix. It has a really high speed motor for doing difficult and hard veggies & fruits. I used to have one but I left it for my ex. He doesn't use it so I wish I took it now. Hope this works out for you. Juicing is great for quick meals and snacks. Sometimes you do need to have a piece of fish to bite into for satisfaction.

I am going to have my first Christmas tree this year since I left the Borg. I love the lights and decorations. I will be lonely without someone to share it with since he has a new woman to put up a tree in my old house. It is how you celebrate that is important to how you feel about it. It is a time to enjoy family and friends. Let's all keep that in mind when we send out those cards. I will miss you all but will try to stay in contact with those that continue to write me. Thanks for the support.

Good luck with that! Do you think they will come? I was shocked to see someone so quickly after I have moved to Tennessee.

I did not touch the unclean thing. She didn't even offer it. She was only holding it. Does that still count as a death for an evil one?

No mention of Jehovah at all. I thought that was weird but then this is my first encounter with someone in Tennessee, and it is the Volunteer state, whatever that means. She was probably a pioneer filling up the time on a small development (there are twenty or so houses in our little area) trying to get rid of her stack o tracts. Hope you are doing well Blondie.

Sometime after 2:30 this afternoon my door bell rang. It was a young woman alone who told me she was a volunteer out in my neighborhood. I saw the new tract in her hand. I leaned into the open door and said I know who you are (she scanned my face but didn't find it in her memory bank). Looking at me and saying you know me? Yes, and I am not interested in your work at all. I really do wish I had run to the kitchen for a fun sized candy bar as an offering. Anyone else have this happen?

Divorce sucks. Try to work out the problems. The hurt can be f**king unbearable. Something you have to live with everyday for a long time.
Still not so Bubblie, having a bad weekend.

When you think of the economy it is like everything is 30% off right now. Your house is worth less, your stocks if you have any are worth way less, so it is like it is on sale right now and everything is marked down. Divorce is way worse than the economy, especially when your ex moves someone you have partied with at an Apostafest, into your old house. That is so hurtful to your self esteem that you don't care that you may have a house, a car, savings, etc. You simply feel like sh*t most of the time. You can't get it out of your mind. You can take comfort that the economy will change. Once you are divorced that is pretty much a bust to any happiness you used to have with that person. It is way over! Thanks a lot to the one that seemed like so much fun! Thanks to both of them for making my life crap each day. Just hope one of them reads this since she is still on this board, commenting like everything is just fine with life. Why not, she is living in a fabulous house with a wonderful man who is taking care of her. I am tossed aside like yesterday's financial report. Sorry man, just working out my anger here.

Has anyone done a cleansing fast?
by frozen one inmy gal is having some issues.
she's gone to her doctor and he ruled out a bunch of ailments but she still isn't feeling good.
a friend of hers said what needs to be done is a cleansing fast.

Just like a few of the posters on here, I have done fasts. Distilled water only, no teas, no special drinks of lemon or other such stuff, just the water. The longest I have ever done one is I believe 15 days. That was a really long time ago when I was trying to lose weight fast. Yes, you can lose a pound a day but as soon as you start eating again at least 5 of those pounds come back. It is refreshing. However, I haven't fasted for longer than three days, lately. That is a blood cleanser. I know there are a few sites about fasting clinics. My ex does a fast for a week for an unhealthy intestine. He does this every few months. He said it seemed to help. He doesn't post on here anymore but he would have joined in the discussion, since he swears by it. Otherwise, he would be miserable and couldn't eat regular food. Maybe, he is doing better since he doesn't live with me anymore and doesn't have to eat my cooking. I probably made him sick. Wonder how the woman he is living with now is dealing with this. The person that is fasting should not work or do any other activity while undertaking a fast. They should be at rest in a clean bed. Sometimes, just showering is a taxing event. Plenty of fresh air is needed, too. You have to be supportive if you are the one that watches over them. I will not miss the schedule he kept. Let us know if your lady decides to undertake it.
