  i got home from work last night and guess what happened while i was gone?.

  my wife tells me she called the presiding overseer to set up a time for all of us to talk about our premarital no-no's.. "really?

  JP I am torn between doing a da letter (since this is showing you recognize the control they have over you) or calling the po and telling him she called the meeting without talking to you. I think I lean towards the da letter more. Whatever, you are in a real pickle on this one. When the elders came to visit my ex, I asked as his wife if I could sit in on it. It really opened my eyes to the two against one trick, as they ganged up on him. Not a good feeling to watch this happen to the one I loved. It was shortly after this I left the wt. I am out with no possible return. But the marriage broke up a few years after. Sometimes, some things don't always fix themselves. I wish you the best. Your words needed to be said to her, stay strong and determined. Just get out of the wt.

  Do you feel unnerved by the "Global Financial Crisis"?

  ever have a moment where something stressed you out, then something else, then another thing, and then you remembered the "global financial crisis" and before you knew it your nerves were shot to hell???

  i have found myself doing that over the last few weeks.

  i end up having to spend a few hours talking myself down.. what is odd is that i know, statisically, we all have a very low chance of loosing our jobs.

  Correction my ex husband pays me something quarterly not enough to live on but help with pet food, my food, heat, water, gas, etc. I can't retire for a few more years so I keep looking for a job.

  IT'S ONLY MONEY, was a joke, Robdar! I have no job right now. I went through a divorce last year. I have lost lots of money recently as well as my self esteem. If you can't laugh then you cry. I have done plenty of that! I hate that I watch my money go away. My health insurance just expired so I hope I don't get sick. I haven't had to pay my own bills in 35 years and they keep coming since I live on my own now. It sucks. No, my Daddy died when I was 16 so no help there. My husband is paying for someone else's way now, not mine (I do get some quarterly.) I am trying to find a job in a depressed town in Tennessee with not much to offer.

  Wobble, I love that story from the old kh. Bet it got a good laugh. I do feel a bond with quite a few on here. So many have expressed genuine friendship while others have sent their feelings as well. As usual I don't rub everyone the same way. Sometimes, being frank or outright makes people uncomfortable. I will try to be kinder.

  Let's all turn that victim feeling around to something more positive (if we all feel like that), and admit we have all survived. I refuse to be a victim the rest of my life. I am not a victim of divorce, I am a survivor of divorce. I also survived being a dub. It's over I'm moving on now.

  Quirky dark beer is really good for you, also dark chocolate. My fav comfort food is breakfast food. Eggs, pancakes, and bacon not sausage but lots of bacon. I hardly ever get to eat it but when I do I love it.

  Anytime we get to listen to John sing his famous song again. It is so good to hear and think about it. A warm fuzzy feeling that all can get comfort from the words. Just remember when things look bad, it is only money we are losing.

  well the fit hit the shan today.. i was lying in bed and my wife was trying to get me up for service.

  i kept telling her no.

  she kept asking why not.. when i felt the moment was right i talked to her calmly.

  Going to her pioneer sister may get her some unwanted advice. If you keep going to the meetings he will see how faithful you are and want to come back to the meetings. That is what the mind controlled told me. I tried keeping it up but it was so hard going without my ex I couldn't keep interested in something he felt totally wrong. I had always respected his opinions about things. Be strong and committed to hanging on to the real truth about the wt. I hope it works out for you well for you and your family.
