No real friends. After I moved out of the territory they stopped calling me. One called a couple years after I stopped going on my cell and I answered. That was the last time I heard from her. She just didn't expect me to answer. Not a really a friend, a pioneer trying to keep her time going with an inactive person. Sad, huh? Lost my best friend last year and many on this board have gone to his side. Right BB?

Would you die for someone else?
by LouBelle inso many times we hear " i'd die for you " or " i'd die for **insert name/parent/lover** but would you really?.
the death may be a painful one and ask yourself if somebody else really deserves your life.. when someone said that to me i told them they probably wouldn't, this person got a little offended and when asked if i would die for them i said "no".....that didn't go down too well.. .

I would hope if someone was in danger and I could help them by pushing them out of the way and not die that would be acceptable. Not sure I have anyone I love that much anymore that I would die for them. Quirky once again, you made me laugh! You are very cleaver.

OUR guilty sins...use disabled toilets and don't always pay train fare! Yours?
by Witness 007 innot much of a sinner but i'm ashamed and must confess...sometimes i use the mens disabled toilets as an "executive washroom"...i don't like peeing in front of others and feel traped in those horrid cubicals but otherwise am not disabled.
{the shame, i check for disabled folks first!
} also if i don't have change i don't pay the train fare on my short trip home so i don't miss the train....feel abit bad and i'm trying to quit these awful pratices.. whats your sin fess up???

I use the handicapped toilet since the toilet is higher. The older you get the harder it is to get up from those lower ones. I don't park in the handicapped spaces. I feed the ducks at the pond when there is a $500 fine but I do know the magic words to use with the police that will stop you. You just have to know a ladies name. I drink a beer to take my depression meds. I really live on the edge.

got headache, stomach ache and legs hurt, i no come work.

Captive of a Concept... ordered it today
by cawshun inhas anyone that read this book passed it on to a jw friend or relative?
if so, how did they respond to your sharing it?.
i thought about passing it on to my daughter and son-in-law after i read it, do you think that is a good idea?

It is a good book but if I remember there were some misspellings in the copy I read about three years ago. Maybe, they have fixed that. Things like that make me crazy. It is easy to follow and understand so that is great and it isn't a giant book like Ray's Christian Freedom. I hope you enjoy it. Cawshun, try dropping some small stories from Ray's COC. You know like, the Mexican dubs paying bribes to the military so they don't have to join, with the wt approval or something you found interesting in his book. That put doubts in my mind, dropped from my ex. That can help weaken the belief it is the trooth.
