I did get the dog in the divorce. Yes, he is a lovely little guy who is always happy to see me. Hope he lives a long time. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why don't I have friends?

They weren't real friends and the religion told them not to contact you after you left. Out of sight out of mind. I had a former bible student tell me even if I was df'd she would still be friends with me. She never called me after one phone call. So much for that.

Thank you all for your comments. I hope you are right about the woman living longer if single. Since that is my state of being now and looks like it will remain so since I can't seem to meet new people. It will take time to get out and meet others of common interests but I will work on it. As far as the financial stuff goes I made out okay in the divorce, getting half of our business money and half the house money and a new Toyota Avalon, I have two retirement accounts and some saving that should take me through my remaining years with a small job to add to it with insurance. My mental state right now is just not that good. I am finding it difficult to live without him. No chance of getting back together since he all ready had a new woman living with him in my old house.

Wish I was still married to my ex but he has a new life with someone he moved into my old house, so that isn't going to happen. I am learning how to live alone even if I don't want to.

Juicing: veggies & fruit.
by LouBelle ini decided to live a healthier life and get some proper vitamins into my system other than poping a pill i'd get a juicer and start incorporating juiced veggies & fruit into my lifestyle.. in the begining drinking veggie juice - even with juiced apples wasn't the most delicious thing but i have to admit that the more i do it the more i enjoy it.. i juice a whole range of veggies from carrots to beets to celery.
and it definately has made a difference.
once a month i just juice - no food.

The best machine is a Vita-Mix. It has a really high speed motor for doing difficult and hard veggies & fruits. I used to have one but I left it for my ex. He doesn't use it so I wish I took it now. Hope this works out for you. Juicing is great for quick meals and snacks. Sometimes you do need to have a piece of fish to bite into for satisfaction.

I am going to have my first Christmas tree this year since I left the Borg. I love the lights and decorations. I will be lonely without someone to share it with since he has a new woman to put up a tree in my old house. It is how you celebrate that is important to how you feel about it. It is a time to enjoy family and friends. Let's all keep that in mind when we send out those cards. I will miss you all but will try to stay in contact with those that continue to write me. Thanks for the support.
