by mattbetrayed inwhat i hate about the bros is there bare faced hypocrisy they preach to people look at the leaders in you faith,see how they conduct themselves.and on this base they try to get folkes to turn away from there chosen faith.but you dare question an elder or any wtbts teachings or the way they deal with "problems within the cong"you are kicked out or at best marked as a troublemaker.ok for them to highlight the faults in other faiths but no way must anyone highlight the evil in the witnesses!!!!!!!

Where was the joy they kept taling about
by heybaby inok, so i have been thinking about my time as a jw (i'm fading out - read my other posts for background info).
you know how you always hear how the ministry will bring so much joy and contentment, yadda yadda yadda?
i always hated service...always!!

yea i did it full time and did not bother to get a real life,that was wrong ,so got out and got a life.iam now a nurse and help folks properly,were they really need help.not having some stupid fool telling them on a sunday morning(while trying to get over a hangover)that they will die and how everyone else in the world is wrong!i mean how the hell did we do that!!man so happy i dont waste my time now.

Is the Patterson Elder School Info. Public Knowledge?

due to a temporary job, i've found myself back in my hometown the last few weeks.
i was pumping gas this morning when i was approached by the presiding overseer of my old congregation (technically my current congregation since i never bothered to change my publisher card).

Small joys
by heybaby inyou know how there are somethings that give you so much pleasure or joy?
it doesn't have to be anything amazing or huge, but for some reason it makes you so happy for those few moments.
some of mine are drinking coffee in the morning with my best friend at work, and the smell of an open fire (it reminds me of being a young child at my grandparents' house).

what was a joy for me was last april me and my family went to bakersfield ca on holiday to see my nephew (who moved there to marry a gal from them parts, all the way from the uk).on the first sunday we were there i cooked a traditional english sunday lunch.we had roast beef(and i must say U.S.A beef my God its the best )and yorkshire pudding,roast pots,and veg with english hot mustard,and for dessert we had english christmas pudding(at my nephews request had to get them chritmas time in uk)and custard.everyone loved it i just so enjoyed cooking that meal,had some wine while cooking .but that was great me my wife kids and my sister she came over and our new family was so nice and good,it was a joy for me and all of us.

by mattbetrayed innot so long ago in the uk a mother let herself die so as to save her baby,sounds good however if this woman was willing to have the blood she would be here today happy and enjoying her new borne.it is so sad that this cult makes folks do these things,me i would do anything for my kids and i believe god would expect me to.. after all god let his son give his blood for us!!

i think this is true they dont make people do things in that they force them with muscle,but do it through the mind "God will hate them"that makes many a witness stay in it".
but they need to get out God will still be there only more loving!

by heybaby inok, so having been raised as a jw, i never celebrated my birthday.

i have had 18 since left iam 41 now 42nd coming up in september,if i were you do what you always wanted to do when you saw others have theirs it makes you feel great
i have done 30 and 40 had a great time, went to ireland for me 40th mega!!!!
girl just have a ball ,do you have any normal buds you could hook up with? if so go out with them!
