What Do You Consider "Hot" When Thinking of a Male or Female?

I like my women tall, got so tired of dating short girls. I'm 6'4", and my wife is 6'.

But looks really only gets you past the first 10 minutes, after that, you better have some mental capacity or beat it. I can't tell you how many dates I went on, that I just dropped the girl off after dinner. No offense to most of the women on this board, clearly your all "thinkers" to some degree or another. But most girls I met when I was younger had no hobbies, no ambitions, no ideas of their own, and clearly no brains.

But my wife is awesome in every way shape and form, hence I married her.

alright, so i'm reading on this site, and i'm not 100% sure what it's about.

it appears to be a bunch of former jw people bashing everything they can get their hands on in relation to jw's.. .

i was brought up as a jw, but when i got older and started to think for myself, i began to realize that i didn't agree with their teachings.

thanks for those words Eliveleth, I'm going to have to say that your short story there is very inspiring. To think that you spent so much time doing something, and still had the fortitude to question yourself and seek answers to those questions, well it speaks volumes. I think as young people were all a bit rebellious, and it's in our nature to change and try to redefine ourselves. But to do it after such a long period of time inspires me to realize that at no point in my life will I ever be at the point that I can't really think hard about what I'm doing. Thanks again.

yeah, message boards are an interesting social atmosphere, especially depending on it's rules/moderator levels. And due to these things, it can cause unfortunate problems in the potential variance of content or focus.

If we could give someone an evil eye before they clicked the post button, the message board system would be perfect haha.

The Day After the Grand Boasting Session

so you got through the grand boasting session somehow.

the one-towel rules, the endless quiet and keep moving signs, the snorefest, and the endless prayer are finally behind us.

usually, if there are children involved, life after becomes unbearable after a grand boasting session.

haha, yeah they were convinced my music was bad. They had some elders come over to talk to me, and I was basically sat at a table with four people grilling me about music. Being a teenager, I got pissed at all of them and told them they were crazy, there was nothing in the music and I can prove it.

At the time I was listening to mainly lyric free techno, so in all honestly, there wasn't anything in the music. No lyrics to corrupt me, it was about as pure of music as you can get. They had no ammo after I played it for them. Score 1 for the teenager. They all agreed they could find no fault in the music, but of course warned me to be careful.

The sad part is now that I look back, I really think they were just looking for fault in me, because in reality I was a really good kid. Compared to many others that is.

Most likely my sister-in-law, but since you all don't realize that she's the most annoying person in human existance, i guess I can pick someone you do know. And that would be Tom Green, while I laughed at some of the stuff he did on T.V., he'd surely annoy the hell out of me in an elevator really fast.

Tex, i'm not one to accept any conspiracy theory, for the same reason I left JW. Because the first thing I say is, who is this guy, where did he get this info, and just hold that thought while I go check this out.

I swear that conspiracy theories are like religion, people will hold onto them tooth and nail, despite convincing arguments.

But hey, the goverment aloud the media to dupe us into believing there was no stockpile of materials for WMD's in Iraq. They let their name get smeared all over the airwaves, and now look at it. 550 metric tons of uranimum shipped from Iraq to Canada, the U.S. kept it under wraps for fear the terrorists would center on trying to grab it up. Of course the media isn't being too loud on this, but a quick google search shows the report in several places last week.

So I don't take to conspiracy theories, but we all know the goverment can be shady when they want to be hehe.

I'm in central florida, not as close to the beach, but about an hour. I think south florida is the problem area really, not so much central or North.

Hey purps, the florida beaches are nice, but I'd like to highly recommend some of the beaches in the carribean. Cozumel Mexico, or maybe St. Thomas. Cruises are amazingly cheap these days, and those beaches are straight out of the corona commercials.

recently i wrote, and re-wrote (and re-wrote and...you get the picture) a letter to my entire family 8 living siblings, 5 of them jw and my witness parents one of whom believes himself to be anointed.

before sending it i asked my older sister who is also df'd like me, to critique it.

she decided that she would like to add her name to the letter also, a little more bang for the buck coming from two of us.

very true, the whole disfellowship process is cruel itself, and the fact that a family can go through with it against there fellow family member, well it's just appalling. And the fact that they actually think that this is something Jesus would do is ridiculous. By disfellowshipping people in the manner they do, it's like they can determine how Jesus sacrifice for us will be passed out. The concept alone is ridiculous, and it's not ok, no matter how they try to slice it.

I'm sorry your family is doing that, they think this punishment will bring you back. When in reality, to any sane person, it just justifies your reason for not joining a group like that.

wow...i am so hurt and angry and in sheer disbelief i don't even really know where to start.

ok first off, my mother has multiple personalities.

it is my hope that one day soon we can actually be...well you know, a "family.

Yeah, I wouldn't leave pictures like that anywhere around, especially if my mom had issues like that.

Secondly, she's definately cares about you in her own way, but she putting the WTBTS before you, even though she's convinced she is putting God before you.

You guys clearly have a trouble past, and the way your mom deals with it may not be the same way you deal with it. So seeing those things may have different associations in her mind then it does in yours.

And, the question I haven't seen anyone asked, you guys know the person that did this to you...has he done Jail time? Did people press charges? Or is he just aloud to continue on freely to commit this atrocity on someone else? This is the most horrifying concept alone.

hah, you know what lady zombie. I always found it to be funny, that when someone says "I don't believe in God", that a person would try to use the bible to prove that God exists. It's almost like they didn't hear a word you said. And furthormore, to aim Christian doctrine at you is still being silly, since you'd have to believe in God first, before you could start considering the many concepts of God.

yeah, I won't try to dissuade you, but I know where your coming from. I should probably start with my own brother if I'm going to harass anyone eh?
