The one thing i did like about the witnesses was that my parents met thru them and then had me! After that I dunno........I can swing a mop pretty good now thanks to being a JW!

My soon Ex- wife acts crazy sometimes! Wants me to live across the road!

my wife and i now are organising seperation....she wants me to buy the house directly across the street from her!!??

the house is nice...polished floor boards etc.

i think she wants me there for security as she is afraid to be alone.

Your wife IS crazy! Walk, no, RUN far far away after giving her a number to a good psychiatrist. Staying close to her would mean moer of a headache for you.But if you love her you might have issue with leaving her by her lonesome. I take the view that in these situations you have to take care of your own well being first so you can make level headed decisions. Divorces are very complicated and stressful so good luck to you in that shizzle.

thanks to this site, not only am i free of the mental imprisonment, but i am also free of the fear that the society used to keep me and others like me silent.. i am not a witness anymore because the truth is not what we are directred to think it is.

once we allow ourselves to think, it is clear as day that there is no real basis for anyone to take the title of faithful and discreet slave.

there are folders and lists which contain the names of pedophiles who were never turned over to the proper authorities for their crimes.

Study Edition Strangeness

heard some interesting comments about the study edition wondering if this is a trend developing.

a friends mother wanted to get a spare copy of the "kool aid" edition to share with her (faded) son in hopes he might attend.

the elder she asked declined stating that the brothers were being very stingy with them.

My MS cousin was very hesitant to give me a copy, because all he had was the two copys they gave to him and his wife. He gave me one since there was only one study article left to do that month and he could manage it. I imagine its hard to get a copy from someone who is actively attending meetings who you happen to meet in the field service though. In my opinion it is similar to how they dish out the oKM.

i have a difficult time grasping the concept of time :) so maybe there there is a watchmaker somewhere around to answer your question :)

Not too sure, but it seems to me this study is probably based on the B.M.I. SacrificialLoon pointed out that it is quite inaccurate.The B. M.I. exists just to keep people self conscious about their weight. It helps keep the "diet industry in business.....or maybe not could be wrong.

This law seems to revolve only around second hand smoke, which is odd to me, because a much larger danger is the risk of being distracted because your were smoking and getting into an accident. The effects of second hand smoke are exagerated IMO. Every day when I turn on the news I hear about how some new product I am buying is actually killing me and my family. I think its a shame that the government has enough power to make wacky laws like this and the ban on smoking in bars. *puff* *puff*
