our little party here is coming to a close and i am very sad about that.
i remember on my high school graduation day in june of 1972, we were all standing in the cafeteria getting our caps and gowns on and i looked around the room at all these people i had literally grown up with for 18 years and thought "this is the last time we are all going to be all together" and it made me cry.
i have come to depend on and love you guys so much.
From me as well!!
Happy Holidays!!
Love to you ALL

what do you prefer bout being single than being hitched?.
(why have so many married people looked at this thread?).
mtsgrad.
I'm single again after 13yrs and I love being my own boss and I love my first own apartment!! I come home when I want, clean when I want, eat when and what I want etc etc. I'm totally free and independant! That to me is a wonderful feeling. However, we're not made to be alone, so of course I long for someone to hold my hand, to hug and so on and I do have someone at a distance but I want to enjoy single life a bit longer.

Ps. have to admit I'm starting to become a bit jealous of Mary and Loubelle
Next time around...I want a man who loves me out of his wits.
december 25th in australia...no snow here, the hottest time of year.
santa's wear red bathers and thongs and we have kangaroo's instead of raindeer!
bakini's and bathers and thongs {flip flops not the sexy kind...usually} beach and pool parties are all the rage as everything else is closed...yes we do throw a shrimp on the barbie...not many roasts but lots of seafood.
Does that mean we have a date?
than the kingdom melodies?.
i did.
but not anymore.
than the kingdom melodies?
I did
but not anymore
i knew many people that were in need of assistance within the congregation that never got helped because the "friends" were more focused on getting their field service time in as opposed to helping those within the "brotherhood".
were you one of those ever in need that got ignored because the brothers and sisters were more involved in "theocratic" pursuits?.
were you one of those that routinely ignored the needy because you had more important spiritual responsibilities to take care of?.
Yes. I was pioneering and always too exhausted to care for anyone else... even though I always tried to be encouraging to those depressed while at the meetings.
I'm a much more generous person now. I like doing charity work and being able to donate some money to various org's without having to think if it's wrong or not, if they are connected to churches, the red cross, UN etc etc.
GEE!!
No more anxiety for gret areas.

Dear A@G
Thanks for the insightful videos and for your time and efforts spent to put it together. Interesting to know that active JWs has contacted you after seeing it and that you may be able to help them and perhaps many others in the future to get out! That makes it all worth while
I find it very interesting to hear this from you and how you came to these conclusions while at Gilead!!! I'm curious to know if you ever mentioned these points or your doubts to anyone at the school? Did you discuss it with your wife? If so, how did she initially react?
Did you graduate and did you go to your assigned field? How long did it take before you left?
Sorry for all my questions.
I will also sign up as your friend.

007,
Is your invitation still open?
i've met a few former "friends" in the congregation in town (i live in a small town).
they just look down and continue.
feels strange...as if i have the plague.
I like it when JWs shun me. That way I don't have to listen to their stupidity. |
True!
