  how many in your cong had nervous breakdowns?

  of the congregation i spent my life in i would say a good 75% had nervous breakdowns at some point.

  and often there was never really a obivous reason for it.

  well not that we jw's could understand at the time.. even the queen bee's/ elderettes were not immune to this.. what about you?.

  Yep, many, including my husband...

  I think the pressure from the borg causes a lot of the breakdowns No one can live up to those standards...

  you are an attention seekeryou're only human, so you can't help but want a little attention every now and then.. you love the spotlight, but only when it's well deserved.

  you'd hate to be known for the wrong thing.. and you also don't mind sharing the spotlight.

  you can easily give someone else credit or a compliment.. you know there's enough attention to go around, and it makes you happy when your friends shine.. .

  my grandma is 85 and still a jw (i don't think she's one of the best though).

  i guess she's been hoping that i would come back but when we met this summer and she realised i'm together with a "worldly" man she understood i'm not planning to come back at all.

  (btw she shouldn't see me at all in the first place since i've left but she's been "tolerant" abt that).

(btw she shouldn't see me at all in the first place since I've left but she's been "tolerant" abt that). She said I'm now lost and in the claws of Satan. I could hear the recentment on her voice. Even though I want to be respectful towards my grandma I thought that this is enough!!! I said that I can't understand how she can say that to her own grand child (I'm 36 so she should have respect for me too) and that I think she's brain washed.!! I guess this may be the end of our relationsship. JWs just think they can say anything!!!

  My sister is still a JW but they have no contact.? I said that if you are so sad about me why not seek comfort and closer relation with my sister? She'd no answer to that...

  Nothing make sence and they don't see it!!!
