  oh how i wish i could just write out something that would cause you all to know and understand that what i say is true.

  or i wish i could tell yall that i am going to do something like cause an earthquake (with jehovahs spirit backing me) at a certain place and time, then after i posted such info then it occurred just as i said...then maybe you would listen and believe what i say.. .

  and even more so, your lack of knowledge and belief in jehovah and in his word the bible.

  Have you read and do you understand:

  Ezekiel 13

  Yes I have and do but "evidently" you haven't. Allow me to quote the first few verses directly from the NWT for ya.

  hmmm what I got underlined in the above scripture sure seems like what the WT society has done over the years, when they are walking after their own heart and spirit when there is nothing they have seen. Everytime they've "prophesied" something it has failed to come true. Do your history lesson on the Org and you can learn a lot. Such as the end of the system supposedly coming in 1914,1925,1975 and then before the turn of the century. Yes there's even more dates that they said but I just like to use the ones above because its so easy with them to show how misleading they actually were.

  Now why don't you go read those scriptures again you asked us if we had read and then come back for more discussion.

  Oh one more thing regarding the UN....the WT society was a NGO of the UN for years until it came out publicly, then they had to distance themselves. Research Watchtower NGO and you may even learn something.

  hmmmm...after thinking this over I tend to agree that I like the mission statement but can see how some may be initially turned off by the name with "anti" in it when you think of "anti-Christ" etc.

  To me a name with the same acronym but different words could draw even more to the cause.

  Such as AAWA (Association Against Watchtower Abuse).

  No one likes to hear of someone being abused in any way shape or form. Generally I've found that the word abuse grabs attention because others want to see why/how someone is experiencing abuse. Whether it be wife abuse,child abuse,drug abuse etc. it can make others take notice and want to see how another is being unfairly treated by some.

  But that being said, I have to say the video in and of itself was superbly done IMO and have already been showing it to many family members and friends as well as put a link to it on a couple websites I frequent.

  Keep up the good work and engaging in the fine fight to liberate and free the minds of many others.

  The video was impressive Cedars and very tastefully done!

  I can see this making an impact on many that are just starting to have doubts or concerns about the WT org.

  All that were involved are truly to be commended.

  Will be sharing the link to that vid on many of the forums I go to.

  Looking forward to what is in store for the future from AAWA.

  i haven't got much of a story.

  i'm in my late teens, grew up in it, and got out of the society's regime by the skin of my teeth.

  nearly go baptized because i firmly did believe it was the "truth" but because of a gut feeling that held me back, that i almost ignored, i didn't sign my blood to big brother.

  I'm so jealous that you got out before you were baptized.

  And to learn the truth about "the truth" at such a young age. You've got your whole life ahead of you unlike a lot of us that learned after getting baptized and spending a lot of years in it.

  There wil be a lot more to this story than is told,,, should be good story when it finally comes out.

  maisha according to the article in that OP, this story is almost 3 years old. The date is May of 2010.

  Not sure how long on the "finally comes out" part if it hasn't been released by now.

  Cedars I have the 1992 WT bound volume but my scanner/printer combo is currently not hooked up to computer because of last few days rearranging my office.

  So if no one else has one I can hopefully help you out in about 8 more hours.

  Can you say on here what exactly you need scanned? Such as article or page number etc?

  a young member of the cong was dfd for not giving up the realtionship they had commenced.

  well, how powerful is the passion of youth.

  later it was stated to the cong by the do that we were not following the the requirements to shun this one.. i felt a touch awkward for them but if we met would always say hi and speak to them like a human to another human.

  predicted the watctower falsely predicted before 1914 that,"millions now living will never die" before 1914. its now a year before we hit 100 years mark.

  was god's or god's holy spirit guiding them when they falsely predicted that prophesy?

  I know what you mean about that particular WT cover. It brings back bad memories to me as well because it was at this time (1984) when I was doing aux. pioneer work for the "society" and had placed that WT with many non-JW family members.

  And it gets even more interesting, I personally knew two of them off that cover in real life. So it hits homes everytime I see that cover shown in a thread.

  And yes both of them are now dead just as all that came before them always waiting on "the end of this present system of things".

  Always hoping to see the fulfillment in their lifetimes and being told it was so soon but never living to see it.
