by Lady Zombie insupposedly about the same time as the bethel visitor's dress code brochure, talks were being given in kh concerning women showing cleavage.. i don't know.
i haven't heard any of these talks myself, but my folks tell me they have.
they also told me about the talks given in other congregations (reported to them by their friends).. i guess some cos, pos, etc.

No cleveage. One of the best things I remember about going to the meetings when I was young was trying to check out the sisters cleveage, and what style of bra they were wearing.

Woke up and found out my gas was stolen....
by FreedomFrog inkids came home from their dads this morning and zach said, "mom, did you know your gas door and cap was off?
" so i sprinted downstairs and investigated....i had just over 1/2 tank and now over night i'm down around 1/8 tank...i'll report it to the management but i don't think the police will do anything since it's not over a certain amount lost.
my car doors were locked and i don't see damage on the outside.

That sucks, I live in Houston, and we have some of the lowest gases prices around, and we have started hearing of people stealing gas. Crazy, crazy.

Deny, deny, deny. If you can live with what happened and it isn't going to bother your conscience, then deny it. Don't breakdown, don't get angry, and don't start to feel guilty even if they tell you, that Jehovah knows. You know he does, but you also know just how far it went, and if all you did was what you wrote, then deny it.
If you grow a pair of nuts, then also tell them that your sexual preferences or acts are none of their business. They will argue that it is their job to keep the congregation morally clean, but it will be very hard to punish you for something that is only implied. In the end I guess they can do what they want, but then tell them that Jehovah knows what is in your heart.

Giving talks terrified my hubby-how about you?
by QuestioningEverything inme and the hubby were talking about back in the day when we had to give public talks.
i'm a natural chatterbox and not very shy.
my hubby is just the opposite.

I never had a problem giving talks, I really loved getting up there, wearing my best suit, and looking at people straight in the eye. I used to like to use props or drawing which pertained to the talk I was giving, which had to be pretty good since you only had what 5 minutes.
