Life is full of ups and downs...and I know I made friendships that I would not trade for anything.....However I am just so disappointed that my friends had to meet me in an Organization full of so many negative experiences. I remember having a friend that really was cool. She was treated terribly by her elder dad. We got along very well, but she really did much better in the world. I mean everyone loved that girl. When her tires needed to be changed her friend from school parents paid for them...so I know at a young age she new that there were great people out in the real world too! I know she probably still thinks I was a cool childhood friend but that I was just someone she needed to cut ties with to separate from the whole thing....I think alot of my childhood friends probobly would like to hang out...but it just isnt worth risking being sucked back into the DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Much as I hate to say this,I am glad for have being a J Dub
by SuperApostateGirl ini know this sounds crazy however being raised a jehovah's witness gave me the tools of respect for my fellow man.
also my parents had a huge role as well,of course.. i just find today there are soo many twisted people who are amused by the sickest of circumstances and pride themselves on belittling people.i mean i am the first to say.
i love funny sarcasm and making fun of the jehovah's witness religion because i believe in my heart its a crazy cult and way out in left field.

I know this take is a little late...by 2 years but better late than never...On the reptilian take, however, I think that goes back to the Sumerian belief.....Ancient takes have been used and abused to serve purposes for the elites. Come on........we experienced that with Judge Rutherford....He would take something from another belief and use it to control the "sheep".... Football season is here..what is the best game you ever missed for Jehovah
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH inthe biggest game i missed was for a circuit assembly......in 1985 when miami played san francisco in super bowl xix.........my baptism was on 1-7-1989 so it was tough to miss the ca the next day so i missed cincy beating the bills and the 49ers beating the bears to qualify for super bowl xxiii.......do any of you remember when on the final week of the 1982 season i believe the networks did not have broadcasters for the games....missed those games to for the ca.....if you are a fan of another sport feel free to describe your sports experience!

Do any of you remember the second Super Bowl between Dallas and Buffalo...SB XXVIII We had our CO visit and the meeting started at 1pm pacific time...The SB started at 3:30. So no problem right...nope he goes over 20 minutes...and I remember after like 10 minutes I finally looked back and to my horror....everyone knowing how much of a fan I was, were looking at me. It was kinda funny seeing people seated in front of me looking at me instead of the clock....what a day!!!!! People later said there was a bet that I would walk out before the prayer!

My first reply from Simon....what do you know!!!!!!!!!!! And of course Simon makes a great case explaining his side............ why JWD should not go on the offensive, becauce it simply would offend JW's who are not ready to leave .....and I get that.....but 10,9,8,7 or whatever years ago, had I known that there was a group of people this size that either had or were considering leaving for all the reasons I was questioning, it would have made leaving much easier!......Young people really have no chance at all to leave and move on. From 15-18 a young one is making sacrifices, after school sports as an example. Then 19-20 something... you find yourself looking for a spouse...then kids...then aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.........you are stuck. Here is my take! The bill boards would be constant reminders from a public view rather than, a once in a year bash, on the Distict Convention grounds were it would be natural to feel violated. I do not think there is only one right way to do something so I would never push this on JWD becauce it is a matter of principal.....and I can understand the priority being just a harmless site for individuals to express themselves....However it would have been great to know of this site much sooner. Not being agressive does have its benefits, but it really does benefit the self-righteous JW's who present, those who leave as being lost....when in reality this board is anything but...lost! That's my 2 cents!
