I'm from Buckinghamshire and will be going to the meet up in London on 30th. I've been to a few now - there are normally two a year, one in the summer and a xmas meetup. They are great fun!!

I think you'll find that this couple have appeared in previous magazines and were also featured on the JW calendar several years back...way before the magazines were for JW only use .

Making the leap - lurker to member - Hello!

by Thor inmy wife and i have been lurking here for almost three years now and finally decided to join!.
we were in the borg for over twenty years.
we came in together as a couple and we left all together as a family of four.

It's wonderful that you've joined us!! My husband and I did a sudden 'fade' too by moving 20 miles outside our cong territory. That was 2 years ago and we haven't looked back since - although my mother and 3 of my sisters are still die-hard JW's, which brings it's own challenges.
I look forward to hearing more about you and your family, what prompted you to leave and how have you been dealt with by the elders and others from your old congregation since leaving.
