  so as the growth in western societies continue to decline and the growth is in 2nd and 3rd world countries how will the watchtower remain afloat from donations from these places where some make a dollar a day?

  With the decrease in meetings they can consolidate the congregations and sell off property. Have like 5-10 congregations per Kingdum Hall!lol

  I agree but won't that also backfire on them increasing the pressure on its members who are already stressed out and on Meds. I guess a trip to the doctor to increase your dose of anti-depressants will cure that problem,lol Everyone is blameing the gas prices for the change in meetings but it's probly the Watchtower trying to save money because they have less money to work with.

  New Light! Starting January 2012 we will be cutting down to one meeting per week so people can spend more time with there family!

  .... I can't imagine it taking 20-30 years to really affect these people my guess would see some drastic changes within the next 5-10 years. Maybe bethel will move down to Mexico for some cheaper Bethelite employees like every other corporation or maybe they can talk the Chinese government into letting them move there printing business into China as long as they hire Chinese labor,lol

The poorer the recruits the less money you're gonna get. Please feel free to add your opinion on this matter and see how you see the watchtower possible moving offshore to some 3rd world country and make some bullshit excuse why they have to move. lol.   Why is Pharaoh's name not given in the book of Genesis?

  why is pharaoh's (or rather pharaohs', as there were more than one) not given in the book of genesis?.

  did the writer (or compiler) of the book have something to gain by not being precise as to the idientity of pharaoh?.

  Absolutley! Really makes you ask yourself a Creator that creates planets and galaxies and who knows what else can't write a book with correct history, I mean give me a break.

  The book is seriously questionable. Inspired by man would seem more correct. Seems like Watchtower logic once again. New Light, The bible is a not the word of God sorry we were wrong for the last 3000 years oh well.lol

  Genesis chapters 1-4 ?

  throughout genesis chapter 1 to chapter 2 v 4 the term "god "is used.

  from chapter 2 v 4 untill chapter 4 the term "lord god "is used.

  i was wondering therefore if the title "god "refers to a different being than the term "lord god" ?

  I agree with Jaguarbass we were a genetic experiment gone wrong from another planet by the Gods and they tried to extinguish us on this other planet but 1 God had pitty on us while the other Gods were set out to kill us.The 1 God seeded us on other planets and the other Gods are searching all the planets to kill us because we are like cockroaches and hard to kill. We are a horrible experiment gone wrong. We only have a short time on this earth until the other Gods find us and kill us all. It's all there in the bible you just have to read it. Build your spaceship before the Other Gods arrive, flee to another planet before it's to late!

  You would think if you were going to right a historic book inspired by God and going to be read by future generations you would want to get all the facts straight. It leaves you with more questions than answers. I don't get that book at all. Then for someone to say all you need is faith is a crock. Blind Faith is just not my style!

  quite agree to a point but all relgions put the far of GOD into there congregation I wish JW s would not be so pacifist but they do not preach war the BIBLE as we know was written by JEHOVAH thru man I MUST ADMIT i f I HAD followed its teachings I might have been a better person so come back an like me sing some happy songs we all only have one life an no rehearsals but being guided by the good book it stops us from wasting our life on the bad things init you do not live for ever but believing in JEHOVAH WE WILL .
