Everything I find concerning the word seems to be based on assumption or pulled out of thin air with no factual backing. And these are the things that xtian religions have hawked for years. Take for example this quote:
" The Greek represents the word "in the Hebrew tongue." Armageddon is Har-Magedon in some manuscripts. "Har" is mountain. "Magedon" could be the same as "Megiddon," the name of a Canaanite fortress from very early times. It was located in what is now the plain of Esdraelon (east part of the Valley of Jezreel) which is bordered by the ridge of Mount Carmel."
"Magedon could be the same as Megiddon". Haven't the big mouths been more assertive about this in the past? Wasn't it promoted as an absolute? And now they are taking a step back with the "could be's" and the "maybe's"?
Magedon. "Mage" refers to magicians. "Don" is the Mafia Boss. Could "Magedon" refer to a battle between the wizards of control and illusion and those who have seen behind the curtain?

Rev. 16:16 "And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-Magedon.
Even Wiki defers to Har Megiddo in attempting to define Armageddon.
The word Armageddon appears only once in the Greek New Testament. [5] The word comes from Hebrewhar m?giddô ( ?? ????? ), meaning "Mountain of Megiddo".

These definitions imply that Armageddon is a place, not an event.
Yet most of the religions define it as a catastrophic, end of time/ end of the world event. JW literature seems to define it as an event and not a place, as do the majority of xtian religions.

Now, here is the crux of the matter. A very significant phrase that has been pushed aside in Rev. 16:16. "In the Hebrew tongue". Is the association with Megiddo an accurate translation from the Hebrew tongue?
I came across something interesting as it seems to be a different interpretation. I do not read or understand Hebrew....but what I wonder is why scholars have withheld this information of interpretering the exact words, if what is written below is true.

Another breakfast egg I like....very simple to do.... is Black-butter eggs.
After you fry the egg, transfer to warm platter. Then put some real butter in the pan, melt it and add sherry. Then pour over the eggs.

While both homosexuality and bestiality are disgusting perversions, in the case of neither one is the marriage tie broken. It is broken only by acts that make an individual “one flesh” with a person of the opposite sex other than his or her legal marriage mate.
This is the most disgusting thing I have ever read. If this doesn't show you that the Watchtower is a tool of the most evil and vile agent on the planet nothing will.
It is ludicrous to associate homosexuality and bestiality as being the same thing. It is very presumptive and erroneous. While a human's sexual nature may be considered our "animalistic" side, it is not bestiality.
For a human to have sexual intercourse with a sheep, cow, pig, dog, horse, etc. is demented. For an organization to dictate that a person must be committed through an oath of marriage to continue living with someone of that frame of mind is an abomination.
Just from a common sense standpoint....there could be very serious physical health problems from transferred diseases to a human mate. Not to mention the mental repercussions of dealing with such a thing or finding that your mate is screwing the family dog and WT tells you that you cannot legally divorce.
Furthermore, one of the most ghastly revelations in all this is that the Watchtower presumptiously accepts the Good Standing of a horse rapist over an adulterer.
In OT perversions of bestiality were dealt with by putting both the human and the animal to death. And yet WT seems to condone the act, and even worse, promote it by not deeming it as "cause for divorce".
If anyone agrees with their dictates, by all means keep going to the Hall and supporting these doctrines of abomination. If anyone's reason for going to the Hall is only to support others, then your presence still upholds that you are in agreement with these things, whatever excuse you use.
Wash your hands often. You never know if an elder is a secret horse rapist. Beware of those who take a whole blueberry pie down to the pasture.

"Serpent" is a metaphor for an attitude or heart condition. There is speculation that the serpent walked on two legs, which might indicate that this entity was also a human being or similar life form. If the serpent did not walk on two feet, then what would be the use of the curse to "go on it's belly"?

Where does Jesus say that he will keep humans from dying? Does Jesus not imply personal responsibility and self determination from his words and actions?

Being "free from inherited sin" means that he asked a lot of questions, knew intuitively that something was amiss, and did not accept the current traditions. Kind of like not being a "born-in".
