I think I would rather take my chances directly with those demons instead of Jehovah Baghead or the Washtowel Slaveholdery. Either are too damn unyielding and ready to make things miserable at the slightest excuse. At least the demons aren't like that.

Wizard, from what I have seen of the attributes of Jehovah-jihad, I think he is a chief demon. He is a warmongering, blood thirsty "kill me some sacrifices and sling the blood on the altar" kind of mean troll. He is always available to dish out punishment but never to comfort or help. Just because people call him 'god' doesn't mean he is good. I think jehovah is a Major Demon. I don't think we know our creators.

The Logos, the active agent of Jehovah God ...created Lucifer;

So if the Logos created Lucifer, then the Logos would have had to create Jesus, too...if they are brothers.

So what function and purpose does jehovah have if Logos does all the work?

I think xtians associate "the word" as being a pre-human representation of jesus.

Does WT teach that the Logos is another name for HS, since they say Logos is "the active agent of Jehovah"?

This is a big surprise to me.

I am really shocked.

I was just reading Nov. WT and there is a line about "god's only begotton son." So how can they say this and yet teach that satan and jesus are brothers?

It gave me the creeps to read that.

The health care section was very unsettling! What are they getting at? "Diagnostics and therapeutic methods that go against principles of worship"? What is that referring to? Since when did WT get into the health care business? I think they are out of their jurisdiction!

"Health concerns are self-centered"? Does this mean you should just shut up and go away? Sometimes people are reluctant to get medical help and when they moan and groan and complain they might be looking for answers from friends to help their problem or need encouragement to seek medical help.

"Keeping a scriptural view of healthcare requires divine wisdom". Well, of course, regular people do not have that kind of divine wisdom. So I guess that means only WT knows what's good for you. Damn. DO you have to ask the elders for approval for surgery?

I notice it mentions "idolatry" in connection with health care. I suppose this means elective surgeries to improve your appearance is out. And while they are at it, they should also ban women dying their hair. I hear hair dyes can cause cancer. No boob jobs. No facelifts. All of that is idolatry of youth and sex. I hope they get tuff about it. I think more WT drop-outs could result.

Ynot, I would have suspected it meant "sons of god" the fallen angels, even though I don't agree with that. But this below...I certainly did not expect.

Does WT really teach that Jesus and Lucifer (satan) are brothers??? Is this "brothers" in a "congregational way" or in an actual "sibling way"?

The Holy Scriptures show that the term "morning stars" refers to two mighty creatures of heaven, namely, Michael (the Logos) and Lucifer.... These two mighty creatures were brothers; both sons of God.

Notice they say Micheal here and not Jesus. So where do they show Micheal=Jesus?

Does WT view that Jesus was "just" one of the obedient angels? Is this why they refer to him as Micheal Archangel?

How do JWs not see this as a conflict of scripture John 3:16 and 18?

i know jws teach that jesus has mpd and is also angel micheal.

i don't know why they think this.. but anyway...my question is....why would jesus open the pit of demons and sic them on everybody?.

are these demons "annointed" to do the slaughtering at armageddon?.

MPD, yes multiple personalities....according to what I have read, WT teaches Jesus is also archangel michael which to me seems like 2 different beings. I don't know the reason why they say that.

But the question is...the scriptures say Jesus has the keys to heaven and hell. And also that he (or Micheal) opens the pit or the abyss. Why does he turn the demons loose if they were already bound?

And why does the pope have the keys on his insignia?

Key, key, who's really got the key?

It seems to me the demons got loose a long time ago. Why do most people still regard this as a future event?

If the demons were not already let loose, then how could WT tell you that the demons are in malfunctioning equipment and rock music?

According to the Watchtower's view of how the book was written, Angels and Women is an automatic writing book. The Foreword states that the woman who wrote it was "impelled to write it after listening to beautiful music." [1] It also said that the spirit that "dictated" the novel to Mrs. Smith was one of the fallen angels who desired to return to God's organization. [2]
Why then did the Society endorse this book since they have condemned reading books "dictated" to authors by fallen angels or demons as being spiritism? The Society at the time believed that some demons or fallen angels were honest and could be saved and return to God's organization.Angels and Women, they believed, was channeled or "dictated" to the author by one such fallen angel who was honest and told the truth about pre-flood conditions on earth. They endorsed the book and said it shed some "light" on the subject since it came from an 'honest' fallen angel who was there at the time. They therefore claimed to receive new "light" from a demon according to their own statements.
This is a clear example to me of Rutherford and the Society believing in and endorsing the views of "honest" demons and also a direct involvement with the occult and spiritism which they would call "deviltry" or "demonism." Today we would call this channeling.

By playing with this sort of spiritism, and endorsing messages from fallen angels, does this mean that WT has been consorting with demons?

Is this why WT is under such demonic influence today?

Do they still get their new light from these "light-bearing" demons?

Do you think WT has "saved" and reformed some of these 'honest' fallen angels and given them leadership positions?

Red Moon: True Prophesy or Superstition?

there are several scriptures that say the moon will turn blood red and the sun will be darkened before armageddon takes place.. i have seen many red moons.

they were astoundingly beautiful, but the nag of superstitious words can prevent one from enjoying the beauty of this phenomenon.. we know today that the "red moon" is caused by dust particles in the atmosphere.

these particles can also cause a "blue moon",too.. in the past, red moons have been caused by lunar eclipse as well as volcanic ash in the atmosphere.. in the "ancient days" i suppose certain civilizations saw this phenomenon as a "bad omen" because they had no explanation for it.

Reviewing this passage we see that one who uses divination is one who receives information from the fallen angels by means of omens or oracles. The manner is immaterial.... A witch is a medium or mouthpiece of the fallen angels...
