And that doesn't seem the least bit unrealistic to them?
I have always heard a leopard does not change his spots. How do they expect these animals to change their natures?
Wave a magic wand? These pics seem like daydream hypnotism to me.
i was reading through the nov. wt that ynot posted.
there was an article that referred to the garden of eden as the "paradise of pleasure".
that wording did not set right with me.

will lack of religious affiliation with a church be the determining factor in declaring one as an "anti-christ"?
if you are not a baptised, signed up, tithing church member somewhere....will this be the dividing line?.
will church membership be the sole criteria of "godliness" in this battle of armageddon?.
I am wondering about these Christian Supremacy groups and Christian Militia and if this might play into something in the near future.

I was reading through the Nov. WT that Ynot posted. There was an article that referred to the garden of Eden as the "paradise of pleasure". That wording did not set right with me. At first it conjured up images of a XXX place. At the same time, I had images of Bacchus in my head. For those who are not familiar with Bacchus, he is the god of wine and inspirer of ritual madness and ecstacy. He is the patron god of agriculture and entertainment.
I find nothing in the scriptures that ever imply "paradise of pleasure." Enjoyment, contentment, camaraderie...now those are different concepts and a lifestyle that sounds like good clean fun. But something just doesn't sound right about "paradise of pleasure". It has a decadent ring to it. A sense of selfishness and lack of care and responsibility.
Is it just me, or does this concept sound sinister to you?

Who gets killed off .....the good moral atheists or the hypocritical self righteous christians?
so paragraph 11-13 yesterday discussed how lepers in jesus' day were outcasts.
they were required to call out "leper, leper" so people would stay away from them.
the next paragraph says that according to rabbinical sources, a religious leader even threw rocks at a leper to keep him away.
I think that the WT is saying though that many people of that time were hateful towards lepers, whereas reality was that they didnt want to contract the disease, right or wrong, that was why they avoided lepers.
Could it be that they rejected the leper because they thought he was cursed by god?
Healers were once burned at the stake for helping people like that. The Church decreed that if someone had an illness it was because they had been cursed by god. And for anyone to try to cure them or allieviate their pain, they were in acting direct opposition of god's judgement to do so. It was gods punishment on that person and therefore the church decreed that they should suffer it. No interferrence!
So, could it be that there was some similar train of thought at that time as well?
the scriptures say that the angels will be judged.
yet it also says the fiery pit is reserved for them..which sounds like it's all predestined and the matter is final.
but to be judged seems to imply that some will try to make restitution or change.. do you think it's possible for these angels to be redeemed?
If Jehovah truly is omnipotent and all powerful (sorry for the tautology) then off course he can choose to forgive fallen angels
Corinthians 6 says that "we" (or 'the saints') will judge the angels. It says nothing about god judging them.
If the saints are to judge the wicked angels, then we humans must be able to see how these beings have contributed to the torment or the good of mankind. We must have something to base a judgement on; something more than a fable.
This is why I ask: do you think wicked angels are involved in the current affaris of mankind? Do you think demons and wicked angels are the same thing?

Do you think it's possible for these angels to be redeemed? If they were to show up visibly, would you trust them or think it's another trick?
If these angels were responsible for WT leadership, as well as establishing all the other religions, and tried to justify why things went awry...how would you feel about that?
Are the "demons" we have been warned about, actually these wicked angels? Are they still active in our world?
so i have been having problems with the renters that moved in next door.
the last 3 months have been a living hell.
i have an ongoing complaint with the slumlord that owns the property and the city is taking him to court for derelict vehicles next week (which i anonymously complained about, but i am sure i am being blamed for).
He starts mouthing off at me not to look at him.
Put cardboard cut-outs of you at every window to make it look like you always watching him
is this true?.
the watchtower of february 1, 1978 said on page 18 about jesus that: ... he was the chief son of jehovah, next to him in the universe.. .
to me this implies that wt teaches in opposition to scripture that jesus is the only begotton son..... "the chief son" seems to imply there are others, but he is 'a' favorite.
The Holy Scriptures show that the term "morning stars" refers to two mighty creatures of heaven, namely, Michael (the Logos) and Lucifer.... These two mighty creatures were brothers; both sons of God.
The Watchtower, March 1, 1932, p. 76
The Logos is Jesus.....
But the watchtower says Michael is the Logos
OK. So I understand WT says Michael is another name for Jesus
But, this still does not explain how Jesus and satan are brothers.
Does WT specialize in this kind of confusion? Or am I just thick?

Next time you run into him "Say lets start over again and offer him a beer" might be worth a try.
Hope, that would probably work if it was a normal person.
But if this guy is into drugs, he can turn violent without provocation, or maybe even put a mickey in his beer.
I would not want to even appear chumy with a druggie. If the neighbors see that, maybe someone will think you are "holding" for him.
mess up their cable and they will leave.dont know if they have cable or not...hmmm..I should call my dispatcher tomorrow afternoon and find out..... I dont have a ladder to climb the pole to do a pole disconnect, but I coould disconnect it at the side of the house... hell, I can take bolt cutters to it at the house. (If I put a terminator in their house box, that would look awful fishy....heh heh)
No no No! I was thinking more like causing static interferrence. I would not advise you to do something crazy like disconnecting it!
