MY APOLOGIES TO ALL

looking back over the last few weeks, i think i've been unnessarily rude to some posters and i just want to apologize to anyone who has been on the receiving end of my anger recently.. i believe that i'm so angry, dismayed, devastated and heartbroken over what's happening to my brother in law, that i've been taking it out on others and that's not right.

it makes absolutely no difference what i think of the wts as a whole, or whether or not americans have a universal healthcare system......none of that makes any difference whatsoever when someone you love and has been like your brother for 35 years is dying and there's not a fucking thing we can do about it.. my sister just called me and there's more bad news, and that's that his disease has now progressed into the acute myeloid leukemia which means he cannot start the therapy they were going to give him, as this is far more serious now.

they want to start chemo right away, but his blood counts aren't up high enough for him to survive.

Hey, I use Oxyclean everytime I do a load. Works wonders.

Still, I feel bad for him.

One more stat on drugs and how, maybe, drugs can Kill?

Maybe.

What do I know. I stopped doing hard drugs right after college when I had to get a job and realized I couldn't pay for drugs, a car, a house, insurance, food, clothing and my student loans.

I opted to stop the drugs.

Since I still can't afford to get high (and don't want to), I am putting my money in my 401k so I can retire someday. Weird how that works.

I debated this with my Mom last winter. It's cold in Chicago in the winter and she flat out refused to wear pants in FS. All she would repeat was "it would be a stain on Jehovah. I have to wear a skirt. It is not showing the proper respect."

I tried and tried to get her to see that it was simply a control issue; no, she wouldn't wear pants for anything.

When I saw this on the news, I immediately thought of my Mom.

House Painting....

yuk.. this one was barn red when we bot it five years ago.

started painting it last fall, only to discover that barn red is hard to cover, [duh, jeff].

it has been half red [2 sides] and half yellow [2 sides].

Good luck on the barn. I've never done outdoor painting so I can imagine the challenge you are facing. I'm sure it will look great. Fresh paint always looks good.

I'm repainting the whole inside of the house. I love the smell.

Also doing it in yellow.
