  I certainly will not be "offended" by photos of OBL dead, head blown apart or not.

  I grew up seeing WT articles of people falling into craters created by our great Creator Jehovah during the mass murder to be known as Armageddon. I accepted this as fate. Then the Friday the Thirteenth movies came out along with other horror movies and movies showing all types of carnage. Terminator etc.

  And they think we'll be offended by seeing the most wanted criminal in modern history dead?

  Give me a F6cking break!

  Show the damn pictures.

  I want to see his brain splayed across the screen.

  Just like I saw those people falling from the twin towers, I can handle it. I won't go out and kill any Muslims as a result. I just want "Closure". Seeing it will give me Closure.

  "origins" of teachings/holidays matter, but not to anything JW

  jw's are always saying the origins of things are pagan...referring to all holidays and false doctrines that all other religions are chock full of.

  so why does it not matter that the "modern day" orginazations origins were full of what we now know were false teachings?

  and they followed one man...russel, then rutherford for many years...which is their own unique definition of part of what a "cult" is.. instead of placing any emphasis on how pagan or wrong the origins of early teachings of wt are...they simply say there has been new light.

  I always send my JW mom flowers and a card for Mother's Day. She never once has refused them nor has she said "Oh, don't that's a pagan holiday". She also accepts all gifts on her birthday, Xmas and any other holiday (pagan or otherwise).

  All of the above.

  I'd go with Terry's advice first. Look at all sources. Avoid one source and avoid Fox and MSNBC. Totally biased.

  Read all stories to get all sides. I like the international side to see what people looking in see and report.

  One question:

  If they can identify Osama from his DNA using his sisters brain, and on CSI and other shows they do it in hours, why does it take a rape or murder victim weeks or months to get their accusers DNA identified?

  Just sayin'. Something seems off with the DNA version. Unless there is a super secret, only special people DNA identification system.

  Oh, yeah, Whoopee, he's dead. Now the super whacko, zealous, western hating, jihadist Muslims will be really mad. Time to build a bunker.

  Update on my daughter Ali... finally some good news!

  i've posted several times over the past 6 months about my daughter, ali's severe heart failure due to a virus.

  it has been a roller coaster ride.

  recently her leads from her pacemaker and defibrilator became displaced due to strong coughing due to bronchitis.

  HBO: Game of Thrones

  i haven't read the wildly popular books, but i've found the new hbo television series, game of thrones to be quite entertaining.

  so far, two episodes have aired, and i think i'm hooked.

  there are more than a few interesting characters, both good, bad and in between.

  Watched the first episode last night, will watch the second tonight. I had to sit with my iPhone open on HBOs website so I could figure out who was who and how the characters were inter-connected. Kind of confusing. I'm not sure if I'm hooked yet. The blond gal whose brother married her off to the heathen King-well, I felt sorry for her. The dwarf was annoying.

  I did notice a lot of doggy style action going on. That director and/or writer must have some wild fantasies.
