so i was just thinking...since many of us became aware of the real truth about the wtbs, many have also questioned the existence of a god, the truthfulness of the bible/holy books and the many practices associated with religion/christianity.... .
some have started to celebrate birthdays, christmas ect after leaving the borg...for those out there, i have a question regarding marriage:.
1. do you still think that marriage is important?
1. marriage is a piece of paper, it won't make your relationship any better than it already is.
2. I would never ever recommend marriage to anyone before living with their mate first. Without living together first, without the intimicy that comes with sex you have no idea if the person is right for you or if you're right for them. When peoplesay that JWs are damaged goods, there is a reason for it.
the entire time i was gone it was nagging at me.
i hadn't been previously baptized, so leaving wasn't that big a deal.
now i'm back in the swing of it, going to all meetings and field service.

If you're for real take your time researching watchtower starting with Russell. If you enjoy wasting your life go ahead and get baptized and be the best dub you can be and see where that get you when you get old and dying.
i had a bit of chat with my wife last night after she was worried that i was less than enthusiastic about the ministry this morning.
i expressed that i was slightly confused about the generations and how it's kept changing despite 1914 etc.

All the JW beliefs are based on leadership, Russell, Rutherford, Knorr and GB. Being wrong may not matter if you as much if you came up with your own conclusions anre were wrong, but jws teachings are brought to you by men who claim to be directed by God, and you have no choice but to publicly approve of them and agree with everything they say otherwise you lose your family and friends. So it does matter if they're wrong because if affects your life as well as lives of 7 million others who at times are forced to die for the teachings of the leadership.

But the prick was a haughty bastard who had no problems pointing a finger at everyone else but himself. Rutherford expanded on Russell business model and pushed his followers to peddle his books. Today's wts has much to thank Rutherford for their riches but too bad for them that education was such a bad thing and now they have a house full of ignorant uneducated men who can't move the cult further ahead and the stagnation will soon turn to downward spiral.

DC are generally good to rally the troops for a day or two and then all is forgotten. If she's not a psycho dub, DC won't have any lasting effect on her. You may consider really studying with her for wt study and/or have a real family study night. When you see noo lite or misquotes brings these out, get old publications and say something as "Dear did you notice this noo lite, only so and so years ago we were taught this, isn't this wonderful?" Or, "I looked up the society's quote here and for some reason the author wasn't saying or agreeing with what wts' context, I wonder why they quoted him in this article in the first place." Get her to think, reason and talk about subjects.
Or simply point out faults which may shake the family boat and see the reaction from the wife and move foreword accordingly. All the best in getting her out, but you also have to realize many have tried and never got their spouses out, so be prepared for that also.

considering the power of the the catholic church, and the percentage of catholics on the jury this is incredible!!!!!
how long do you think it will be before before elders and bethelites among jehovahs's witnesses are convicted of criminal conspiracy with no jehovah's witnesses in the jury pool ?
I don't know if GB actually deals with database or is it administered by legal dept, in which case they are the ones who should be charged with obstruction of justice and any other law that would partain to their crimes. When elders call wts regarding pedophiles, they don't speak to GB members but they speak to legal dept who tell them how to behave, and obstruct justice in many cases.

Love to see DO and COs get jail sentences. Now how would this involve wts attorneys who know there is a databank of pedophiles, they're not representing them but are giving counsel to elders how to protect these people. I would like to see these lawyers stand trial for their part.
